The two included straps are long enough to hold my largest SUP board. they have a neoprene sleeve to protect the board and provides a great place for the extra strap length once fully extended. No flapping, no damages to the board. The foam support at also great, even when fully pressed down they leave a decent 2.5" gap allowing the board not to touch the front reflector (if nay) or the aero bars. I have a reflector and could not use the velcro, so I used two velcro straps in stead. I tested the KIT on a 65 miles commute to a nearby lake. Average speed 80 MPH on my 2015 Subaru Impreza stock bars. No issues what so ever. Outstanding product at a fraction of the price of similar units sold in stores. Very pleased with the purchase and highly recommend this item to any SUP or surf aficionados. ... show more

This strap system is great for our SUP. The pads protect the board from rubbing against the rails and the straps keep it very snuggly and securely on our vehicle. The surf racks arrived quickly, within a week of ordering. Good quality, and they actually fit/attach nicely to my Volvo roof racks. The problem with older racks is that they are not wide enough to fit around the wider cross racks of newer cars. The Acavati Aero racks fit perfectly and are designed for cars with Aerodynamic roof racks. I would definitely recommend these racks. ... show more

Great pads and straps for a great price. Well padded metal clasps on the straps so no worries about your car or boards getting scratched. Easy to adjust. I’ve left the pads on my bars and they’ve stayed secure and haven’t deteriorated or faded significantly from the sun yet
