I’m sure the pole is nice. The problem is it is shipped in a plastic bag. Mine arrived damage, scratched, pole sticking half out the bag, and almost all the eyelits were bent or broken. I returned and provided feedback and requested a replacement. Second one came the same way. I was going to do it a third time but the pole was no longer available. If you order from Abu Garcia directly the pole comes strapped to a heavy piece of cardboard that is packaged in a cardboard box. Or if you order just a rod I comes in a heavy duty round container and would be very unlikely to get damaged. Do not order from here, no way to contact seller, I can’t imagine how many poles get returned. It’s not the most expensive pole in my arsenal but it’s not the cheapest either. I called Abu Garcia directly to make them aware of the situation. Don’t order on here. ... show more

Great pole and reel! It is worth the money. Quality build and overall easy to use if you’re into bait casters. I’ve caught 8-10 pound rockfish with this no problem.
