    • Spool is too small for 12 lb test
Garcia spinning reels are not what they used to be. This rod and reel combo was sold as medium weight, the spool is too small for 12 lb test. Whoever came up with pairing this rod with a spinning reel is an amateur. The 6 ft 6 Pole has eight eyes of small diameter that combination is a disaster for casting a spinning reel. I will attempt to put this real on a different Pole and go down to 10 lb test and see if that helps its performance. I don't recommend purchasing this combination. ... show more
