My groomer uses this on my poodle and recommended I get some. She said it would help with tangles. Wow I couldn’t believe the difference! It helps so much. The tangles do not pull nearly as much and this stuff smells heavenly motto speak of the beautiful sheen it gives to a coat. Before I got it I bathed my poodle too often. This really prolongs a bath and helps her skin not to dry out. It’s the best product I’ve ever ordered for her. I wish I could tell all poodle/ long haired dog owners about it! ... show more

First of all this product works and it lasts for quite a long time (on my horses approx 2-3 weeks). Personally I find the price to be a little high for the product. The best part of the product is that it absolutely softens and detangles the tail/mane;- however it is no better or easier to use than regular conditioner. You still have to spray and comb, and comb, and comb, and detangle and work at it. I also had to spray considerably more than I anticipated to get it to work and detangle. It is no easier to apply than regular conditioner. The benefit of this product, is that it lasts much longer than any other product I have used before and the difference in the softness was noticeable, and I liked this product because of this reason. On a side note, my friend used it on her poodle and she liked it also, and said she was going to buy some. For those who dont know (I didn't know this), poodles hair gets matted very easily .....apparently it made a difference. ... show more

I have read a lot of reviews on what I could use to tame down and smooth out my dogs nappy fur on her hocks. I have a long haired German Shepherd that use to have silky flowy hair until I spayed her. The drop in hotomones equals not so lustrous locks. Her hair became more dry. Her tail and hocks have hair that of you look at a single stand you can see a thousand little kinks in it. It became hard to brush threw and looked raggedy. This product made my brush just glide through with ease. I saturated her hair pretty good and the product dries fairly fast. It smells good. It is not greasy and a little goes a long way. After the product was completely dry her raggedy hair was extremely soft and I could run my fingers through it. It was also shinier.
