It’s nice to know that there are still sturdy hard plastic recorders available for school children, and this one was almost perfect. However, there is a large chunk of flash behind the last hole (on the foot joint). I see that I can return the entire instrument, but am hoping that the company will see this and can exchange the foot joint only—my son is very young and autistic, and won’t understand why I’m taking away his “flute.” ... show more

Ordered a pair for my grandson's school music classes (one for school, and one for home so he can 'practice'. Went to his class' performance. Yikes. 9-year-olds shouldn't be doing music. Still, the kid likes it, and maybe he'll move on to an instrument that offers better sound.
