  • Working as they should
I'm a complete noob to any kind of bodywork and I'm restoring a 50 year old tractor. While my work doesn't have to be perfect, I need to bang out some dents before painting. With the help of some repair videos and this kit, I've been able to get the job done to my satisfaction. The hammers seem solidly built and the dollies are providing me with enough variety for what I have to do. ... show more

  • No shrinking hammer.
Maybe they just don't know what a shrinking hammer is. This set doesn't have one as advertised.

  • Great Hammer and Dolly Set For The Money
I am new to using a hammer and dolly set so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I looked at various websites like Harbor Freight, Eastwood, eBay, etc., and then I saw the ABN set on Amazon. The price was right and it had a lot of great reviews so I gave it a shot and am glad I did. I am new to the hammers and dollies but I am no stranger to tools and these are quality made. On top of that, I was amazed at how well these work. I had watched several YouTube videos on how to hammer on dolly, hammer off dolly, using the pick, etc., and so I tried the set on an area on my MGB GT that I recently purchased and it had a crumpled area under some bondo I removed. When I say crumpled, it looked like a piece of aluminum foil that had been crumpled and them pulled back open. Lots of creases and bumps. It is a mess. I used the hammer and dolly for just a few minutes to try some of the techniques I had learned from the YouTube videos and was amazed at how the metal started to return to it's original form. I didn't finish the area yet, but the results I obtained in a few minutes was amazing, at least to a pea brain like me! This is a great tool set and for $25 you can't go wrong. ... show more

  • Ok for what you pay
The dollies are not very well made and I’ve noticed after a few uses of striking hard on the edges trying to get body lines to even out the edges are damaged. The kit is ok for DIY but for pros spend up and get tools that will last

  • Everything I Wanted, Fast
I’m doing major work on a 66 year old tractor including a paint job and decided I needed some body work tools to remove dents in the hood and fenders. I found a set at Harbor Freight that fit my budget, but decided I’d look at Amazon too, hoping to avoid the 50 mile drive. I was delighted to find what looks like the same seven piece set for a few dollars less, so ordered it on a Sunday afternoon and received it the next day via USPS. Impressive! The hammers and dollies have managed to assist in ironing out the body damage, though I wouldn’t know enough to comment on tool quality, but I’m certainly pleased with the price and amazing quick delivery. ... show more

  • Seems To Be a GREAT Set of Shaping Dies Set
I saw one reviewer gave this product three stars because his son hadn't used it yet. I think that's a disservice to this kit because, as soon as you pick it up, you can tell that they use quality materials which are robust. When you open the case, you'll find all of the dies, and the hammer heads, wrapped in a "protective" sleeve (thin though it is) which I thought it was unnecessary, as the tools were about to get whaled on, but it was a nice touch from the manufacturer. The hammers, each with different head shapes, felt very comfortable and substantial. The dies, again with several shapes, were heavy and large enough for the jobs I'll need them for. I don't expect to need another anytime soon but, if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this one again. For the price I paid, they were WELL worth it. ... show more

  • Good for the money
Yes, I am certain that there are better sets out there with bigger dollies, and yes, they're made of harder steel. If I owned a body shop, I'd have bought one of those sets (at a large multiple of the price). BUT for the guy at home who just needs to bang out a few dents on a budget, this set is quite satisfactory. I already need to redress a hammer, but that's OK. If I'd have paid a tool truck price for the hammer (or even half the tool truck price), I'd be really mad. But I didn't, and my workshop time is free, so I can spend a few minutes at the grinder cleaning it up before I go on to the next panel. Like I said, it is good for the money. Pound, pound, pound! ... show more

  • Great Price but the pieces are small
This set had a really good price but unfortunately, the pieces were tiny, like toys. So this was a gift for my dad and he did not like them. Quality seemed good, just the size was too small.
