It was a challenge to put them in by myself , so, tip for those who’s going to do it for the first time as well, do NOT put them super close to your roots, I did it the first time and the tension from the extensions game me a horrible headache, so I had to take them out the same day. Was easy to remove with just a little hair conditioner, than washed them with shampoo and applied again . Also tried applying heat, they responded very well, super soft and easy to style . Im a professional and have always had the best success with this hair until the past 6 packages. The glue that is applied by machine to the tape on sections are faulty. They used to be mat finish and no shine and had the best solid bond when applied to clients har. Now it appears they changed manufactures or who knows what but the glue / tape is thicker and shiny with bubbles. Faulty and will not creat a solid bond when applied professionally. The hair is usually good quality but sometimes comes broken with shorter pieces in the middle and you really cant see them until you undo the bundle. The color is always consistent that the main reason I continue to purchase from this seller. I’ve yet to have the seller offer any adjustments for the faulty glue on the tape strips. I never write reviews but this time I had to redo my clients hair after 2 days because of a faulty product and want everyone to be aware. ... show more

Update 5/21/21: Sooo... I’ve purchased 3 different brands of hair on amazon previously... and in my case, 4th time was the charm. This hair is far superior than the rest. I used Chi Shine Shades in Crimson Red and used color generator 10vol AND both their Infra Red shampoo and the Color Lock—I couldn’t be more pleased with how the hair took the boost of red that was needed. And it’s healthy. I’ve fallen asleep multiple times without braiding it before bed and I’ve woken to zero snarls. No breakage... no shedding... jus silky smooth easy to manage hair. I stand correct, the tapes are amazing! Will def purchase again esp knowing I can color without doing any damage whatsoever - but will stick with the Chi brand. Initial review: The quality of hair appears and feels to be good and healthy. I haven’t yet installed but the bands of tape seem promising and I imagine will hold up for multiple uses/retaping without the bond weakening and breaking apart. Overall I am satisfied... but do need to dye it. I just hope by doing so, I don’t damage the hair and shorten its lifespan. I included a picture showing red hair purchased from a different company which i have installed atm, and of one piece which is significantly lighter, that is from the pack of hair which is under review. IMO, this is not red at all. And the picture/lighting makes it look even more red than it actually is. This hair is a rosey pink...A really pinkish rose gold color. The hair has an impressive amount of dimension which is created by lighter, blondish/goldenish strands mixed in with the “red” strands.... it’s very beautiful actually and super noticeable in sunlight. Whats strange is I had been considering a change since my old hair is ready for retirement, and have been really tempted by rose gold. But i decided to stick with red as I’m still traumatized by my last experience with lightening my hair when I fell asleep by accident, which resulted in a chemical cut. So sad. So my hair is at chin length now, is growing fast, and is supah healthy. I’ve only been using semi perm red on it which creates a beautiful transition of real hair in a darker red into the extensions, which are a very rich and deep red. Ladies, ALWAYS set a timer when lightening your hair. Always. So anyway, this color discrepancy has created a slight dilema for me. Do I color match with the red Ive been maintaining and have dye for on hand.... or do i bite the bullet, lift and lighten my roots and go rose gold!? Ahhhhhh, halp!! Final decision: sticking with the red for now. If/when I go rose gold, i don’t want it to be as pink as these extensions are. Ill add that in regular light, as a bunch, the pieces are a salmon color.     • Natural but not natural

As a professional who works with/installs top of the line hair, this hair is ok. They are super thick, you can dye them and it’s wonderful. It’s more or less wonderful the first 2 weeks after them being installed. After those 2 weeks, even using only professional and hydrating products, the hair turns into wig hair/straw texture. No movement whatsoever. I have had them in for a total of 4 weeks and I’m at the point of removing them for my specialty hair. I more or less wanted to try out possible cheaper hair and compare it to the more expensive. When you are looking to reuse and have them in for as long as you’d like, it’s best to look for hair that can hold up for that long. That also being said, the tape is always something very important to look for when installing. Can it be easily removed and reapplied with new adhesive? This tape is strong, but it does make the hair around the tape that was not even touched to begin with, sticky. Meaning it’s over-powerful and will cause problems when moving up. Absolutely do not use hot tools on these. It can take it and not melt, but over time they will tarnish. I would suggest these if you’re maybe looking for a temporary adjustment or don’t mind the hair structure itself. Otherwise, professional is where it’s at ... show more
