The media could not be loaded. Until I get a shade sail built over my little koi pond, I’m using a canopy to shade the water to keep the temperature safe. Several times our unpredicted wind has blown the canopy on the roof after pulling the multiple stakes out of the ground. It’s been so bad that the frame of the canopy is now damaged. I found these water weights and figured it would be worth another try. As you can see, they worked great. I’m very happy with them. They are thick, squared jugs. Much, much better than milk jugs. They tuck nicely into the corner and fasten easily with hook and loop fasteners that are held in place on the container and the canopy leg. (they don't slip down).

These are about the size and weight of a gallon of water. Much smaller than expected based on the images but the measurements are listed so no fault of the description at all. Filling it with sand will help make it heavier than water alone.

The cheap thin plastic wall at the opening will not keep water from leaking out of the cap on all 4 units during a normal car ride. I immediately purchased 4 Eurmax units and discovered its wall is 3 times thicker, with stronger threads and caps and leak proof. I got these because they were the best size for transport and weight for my tent. Fillable with water sand or gravel and not too too heavy. My first order the bottles leaked. My exchange had one with a faulty cap. The cap was not even screwed on to one of them when I opened it. The mouth of the container had an uneven lip and didn't allow the cap to be put on. Would have ordered a 3rd set swapped out the good ones for any broken ones but Amazon wouldn't allow a 3rd exchange. Can't tell me these are 112lb weights--They're not even 15lbs each when filled with water. Perhaps the wt listed is for sand, but that isn't what I expected. They're tiny jugs. Also, my gazebo poles are 2" square--Of course it doesn't fit well, but figured I'd try to make it work. Well, now I need velcro strips since the ones provided don't go around anything >1" diameter.
