    • A dino fan's dream come true!
My son got this as his big present for his 5th birthday. He is OBSESSED with dinosaurs so this is right up his alley. Right away, the first thing he wanted to do was test out the VR. Setting everything up was quick and painless. Download an app, open it, put your phone in the slot, and just look down at the pages in the book to see the VR component for each flagged page. The only quibble we all had (because, best believe the rest of us played with this too!) Was that several of the VR bits, early on in the book, especially, were kind of cheesy. It just looks like a room with a projector screen, and a crudely drawn cartoon dino. Meh. I feel like, if they were going to go that route, then they missed a big opportunity by not visiting an actual museum using images of real dino skeletons. Other than that, though, the VR experience was a lot of fun. Especially the T-Rex chance! The book is excellent, with or without the VR callouts. The illustrations show lots of realistic details. My son loved the pictures. He was also thrilled to discover that this contained a dino dig kit. He loooooves those. So he made short work of extracting his T-Rex skeleton and putting it together. This one is substantially larger than other dino dig kits he's done before, which makes it that much cooler. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with this whole kit. This was a gift for my grandson very disappointed because it came in damaged twice. I am hoping he won’t notice but for the price it should have been in better condition . Not very happy.

This is totally impressive. If you have a dinosaur 🦕🦖 Phanatic in your life they could never thank you enough for this wonderful learning experience!! The directions on 4th page If you do not download the app this will look like just a ordinary book. Look at it through the app and it's Amazing!! CAUTION...... IF YOU HAVE EPILEPSY, GET DIZZY EASY, HAVE MOTION SICKNESS. PLEASE USE WITH CAUTION. This is VERY 3D!! Very Vivid. You must use your cell phone with the app open and sit it in front of mask in order to watch in reality. I got this for my 7 year old grandson. We will see how he does. You will see dinosaurs in a new fun way. Makes a great fit. I will update after he uses the fossil and looks through the camera in true reality 3D.     • Excellent way to keep kids interested
I ordered this interactive VR dinosaur activity set for my six year old daughter since she loves anything to do with dinosaurs. While she loves them, sitting down and actually learning about them tends to be a tedious task for her. With this activity set, not only is she interested, she’s enthralled. The VR dinosaurs look and feel lifelike, adding a level of immersion that she hasn’t experienced until now. Everything that the books teach stick because of this. Having such a vivid way to clearly see the dinosaurs makes a huge difference. My daughter absolutely loves this kit and has been soaking up all of the material like a sponge. I highly recommend this activity set as it keeps kids having fun and excited to learn more while providing a deeply educational learning experience. ... show more
