I bought these, even though I had another similar product due to the more "SPIKED" nature of the end, the other used a wedge/angled end on ONE SIDE. This seemed like a better option. I have used the others with great success to act as small tie downs for my two 60+ LB dogs. The only complaint I have is that the "J" part of the stake is not as long as on the others I purchased but other than that, I do prefer the matte coating on this over the other that went for a glossy finish for some odd reason. I did end up getting enough of the "J" buried so that the tieout would stay in the ground and not get loose. JUST note, not a lot of play here. Also, love how easy these are to remove when you're done using them as tie-outs. Short: Easy In "J"could be a little more "U" shaped for my needs I tested its strength with the tie out and walking away from it, so about 150LBS of force applied to it. Held up. Easy out when needed. Great hold Better matte coating on it over other I tired. Would recommend if the "J" shape isn't the most important part. ... show more
