The lunchbox itself is pretty spacious and easy to carry around. Love the containers that come with it have been using them all the time and are indeed dishwasher safe. The ice packs do keep it cool for quite a bit but I wasn't able to fully test out its limits since I do have a fridge at my job. The thermo serves it's purpose pretty well but didn't handle washes as well as hoped and perished after a couple months, but that might also be due to my caffeine addiction so overall it saw more use than anything else. ... show more

I especially like the containers that perfectly fit in the bag, and the side entrance— I find it makes everything more accessible. PLUS, the little compartments inside the food containers are removable, so you can put a total of four compartments or NO compartments in the food containers. So versatile! The side pocket holds a couple full-sized water bottles quite easily. I wouldn’t microwave the containers, as the lid may warp with excess steam, but I’ve had no issue with them I’m the dishwasher. ... show more

It should be noted I purchased this for the bag/box itself and not any extras it comes with. I chose it for three important (to me) reasons. The most important being I did NOT want a cheap mesh bottle/thermos holder, and this one is made of the same material and large enough to hold two 16 oz bottles or one wide one. The second important factor was the sturdy top carry handle which is in an X pattern sewn at the corners. It makes for a well-balanced carry. The third reason is the separate top compartment that has enough space to accommodate and keep separate some condiments/seasonings, snacks, and some over-the-counter medications, just in case. The supplied thermos/water bottle is small, and the push button top is weak. I am not impressed with the supplied food containers as they seem flimsy, and the little snack/sauce/condiment trays they come with seem pointless. I should point out that I did not buy this because of the containers, as I already have my own preferred ones. The little ice packs are also quite small, and probably their best use is to keep a water bottle cold in the side compartment. I already have better ice packs and suggest you get some as well. I was impressed that the supplied fork and spoon are actually sturdy stainless steel and not the cheap plastic so often supplied by others. The zippers, as with most bags, seem light-duty, so I suggest being gentle with them and avoiding letting them get caught on the seams. This should not be a problem as long as you are paying attention to your actions and are not being distracted by the inevitable non-stop chatterbox coworker that seems to exist in every place of employment. ... show more

I was looking for a lunch box where I wouldn't make a big mess. Frequently containers I've tried in the past have leaked all over the place. Not so with the containers in this lunch box. Everything is nice and secure. I also really like the fact that this is a complete set, including a thermos, spoon and fork. You might think this isn't important but when you start pricing all the items separately you realize what a good deal this little kit really is. It's perfect for a long day at work. If your ECO conscious the fact you no longer have to use plastic baggies or plastic cutlery is a real plus. The fact it also comes with reusable ice bags is great. They are not huge but they do the job. This is just another item included in this package deal that would cost you extra if purchased separately. All in all - great value for the money. ... show more
