    • Sadly disappointed with quality
I was excited to finally receive this album because it was on back order when I ordered but quickly became disappointed as I played my records. Immediately brand new out of the box both records on both sides are jumps and skips on the record. I inspected them carefully and cld not see visible scratches but it happens with only certain songs on both records. I love the album itself as far as the songs but I feel the quality of the records are lacking. They are not very thick sturdy records and I feel maybe the pressing is not consistent and that is why only certain songs are skipping. Like I said the records had skips on the first time playing them. I have requested for replacement and hope the new album sent will not have this issue. This is why I have only given a 1 star review as of right now. 01/06/19 Update: Well, received my replacement for the first album that I had to return. I will be returning for the second time. Just as the first album there are skips in songs brand new out of box. The hole in one record was too tight to fit on my turn table. This is so upsetting because the songs are great but when they are being ruined by jumps and some really weird speed changes in some songs even though the actual speed of the turn table hasn't changed. I'm going to try again and see if the third time is a charm. My fingers are crossed. I don't know who is manufacturing these records but they need way better quality control. None of these records should be sent out with jumps and skips. UPDATE 01/17 After returning this album 3 times because of jumps and skip I have finally received one that is perfect. I also changed the needle on my turntable although my turntable table brand new and I did not have issues playing my other records that I own. So... the songs are awesome and its great not hear those skips in some of the best songs of the album. ... show more

    • The pressing this film deserves
The recording quality is fantastic. Crisp mixing and fantastic pressing. No area of the spectrum is neglected, no clipping or washing together. Add-ins include classy photo still prints and a lyrics booklet. Very nice collectors item for fans of the movie.

Vinyl edition comes jam packed with bonuses- from high quality photo prints to full color, glossy picture sleeves and beautiful and sturdy packaging. This double vinyl set plays like a dream, it almost sounds better than the digital versions of the album! A superb pressing and the album sounds like it was made for vinyl! The songs are incredible, and as someone who hasnt seen the film yet, the dialogue helps paint a picture and does a fantastic job of telling the story.. which is a mixed blessing as the dialogue cluos can spoil the ending. Country, rock, and pop.. this album has it all, and you can very clearly hear Ally's growth as a music artist, as well as the ups and downs of her relationship. The album is a must own and vinyl edition is well worth the extra cash for Gaga fans, vinyl collectors, and fans of the movie alike! ... show more

    • Good packaging. Bad pressing
The packaging is great. But I’d love to be able to buy a record and the pressing not be a decent printing. It’s upsetting to pay this much for vinyls and they never play correctly

    • INCREDIBLE ALBUM!
The media could not be loaded. Sensational album! Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga shine on this record! Gaga is a young Streisand bringing a fresh new sound and brand new music to a classic love story. Cooper lended his voice and gifted us all with his musicality and allowed us to watch thru his eyes as he directed himself and Gaga in this beautifully written story. The album itself is a “gatefold” and a fine read on its own. It also boasts a dozen plus photos of Cooper and Gaga, in capturing a beautifully love story depicting in black and white still shots. 2 LP’s are sweetly nestled inside the gatefold, awaiting your undivided attention! 😉 Enjoy! ... show more

'A star is born' is the best movie for me. Lady Gaga is really a genius! I love all the songs in this movie. However, this vinyl needs to increase the tracking force of the turntable when listening. That way, the song won't skip.

    • Records are wobbly so songs skip.
I was so excited when I ordered this only to find that just like most of the other reviews, the records are not straight so they wobble and it is unable to play most of the songs. What a disappointment.
