Intake fit perfect and was relatively easy to install. Here are 2 things you need to know if you are tackling this project. 1, on the rear of this intake there is a capped off water port. I suggest replacing the spring clamp with a real clamp. Mine did not hold and shot off the cap. No big deal, just something to avoid. 2. You will need something to put a vacuum on the coolant system before you fill it such as an (air lift). It is a sealed system and you will have a large amount of air trapped without pulling a vacuum. I learned this the hard way. The intake performs very well. Runners seem shorter than factory which seems to make more off idle response and low end power. ... show more

Had a coolant leak and found this manifold had one day shipping, paid a premium but needed a running car. only reason for a lack of 5 stars is the specs are slightly smaller and limit airflow compared to factory and I did notice a slight decrease in throttle response.

Old dorman intake has the coolant crossover leak. Which results in changing the whole intake. Terrible design. This intake worked. I used a motorcraft tstat and a new temp sensor. No issues so far.

sorry I has to put this in reviews all the warranty links went nowhere Finally got around to putting it on man it ran great for about 2 weeks then I started noticing it slowly losing power again getting back to almost as bad as it was before a horrible number 8 cylinder misfire pulled it off 4 days ago and found this it has deformed to the point of failure hopefully this is a isolated incident because it did seem well made ... show more

Installed the first one and had a vacuum leak in the D/s rear of the manifold. Ordered a replacement and the same thing I do have to say I used one back in May of this year with no problem. I hope they figure out the problem because it is a nice part but somewhere in manufacturing there is a problem. Had to buy a Ford manifold. ... show more

My son and I installed this intake manifold. Fits works great and fixed P0171 code. If you are about to do this have 10mm that swivels and torque wrench. The torque Sequence is stapped on the manifold. This is good time to change spark plugs, buy new rubber boots for coil. We destroyed 2 removing them. Having fuel injector O rings would not hurt. ... show more
