When we started learning how to mix our own cocktails we wanted to get a Boston Shaker versus the single cup shaker set we had. Most of our cocktails we now stir but these cups help to make the drinks cold very fast, they are very easy to clean and after a couple of months of use they are still shiny. It does take a couple of tries to learn how to couple the two cups to shake without leaking so I recommend trying with water before filling them with expensive liquor only to have them end up on the floor. You get the feel of how they should fit together quickly. They were reasonably priced and I think they will last us decades, I even dropped one and there's no dent or scratch on it.
