I built me a garden shed and in the top part of the wall I made a opening and attached this to it so when it gets to warming area it opens it up and that's the hot air out from the top area. My other one lasted a few years.

Bought this for a Chinese made Climapod-Virtue. It works as advertised but I had to make adjustments to the bracket. The spine of the bracket protruded too far to allow the piston to completely close. I had to use a grinder to remove a large scallop of material from the aluminum spine. Directions are very little to be desired, but if you have any kind of mental capacity to figure out the puzzle of metal pieces then go for it, installed and they work, windows open at 65 degrees and closes about 65 degrees, should have ordered sooner
