Somewhat smaller than expected. Also a little dry when it arrived, with a few brown needles, but tree was living and it looks pretty hardy so far. Hopefully I can nurture it along, and one day it will need to be transplanted to a larger pot. It's kind of early to give a full assessment. For the price it was a good deal ... show more

I wasn't expecting much for $21 but figured I would give it a try. It is a cute little tree but it spent a long time in transit and looks very dry. I gave it a good watering and put it on my deck so we will see how it goes. It is much smaller than I anticipated and the pot is nothing like the picture. No care instructions were included and since ordering, I have learned that juniper bonsai are very difficult to keep alive so fingers crossed this little guy makes it. ... show more

Came very protected with peanut shaped shipping puffy things (don't know the name) and plant was still fine, thriving and ceramic tray was cold to the touch so I gather it was stored properly. The only thing I would have liked is some explanation on how to continue to keep it alive. It has dev eloped some browning of some of the leaves and I don't want it to die on me. I have looked ant videos which says they must be watered every day, perhaps some fertilizer during growing season, but don't know about the soil and the temperature it should be in. Still, makes a nice gift and is elegant looking for the home. ... show more

I was a little disappointed at the packaging and the effect that it had on this plant. When I opened the box it seemed to be packaged well but as I peeled away the layers it was obvious that when this plan was packed the plant was bent over and now is growing sideways. I am hopeful that once it has been out of the package awhile that it will spring back. If it does this is a very nice plant. If not it is not so nice. They need to do a better job of packaging.     • Very easy to care for.
Very small bonsai takes an ice cube a week for watering and limited trimming to keep or enhance its shape. Great addition to my coffee table and look forward to its growth and future shaping.
