Growing these small trees is an ancient art form in which the leaves can be trimmed and guided to be made into the owner's desired shape. Bonsai convey the symbols of meditation, harmony, peace, and balance. Junipers prefer soil that is slightly dry, but it should not be exposed to prolonged dryness. • Great Trees
These came in very healthy and in great shape. They were large and healthy when we received them and continue to thrive today.

  • BONSAI !! Right out of the box! Again, so nice I will have to buy another!
Got my new little junipers today, everybody in good shape with the exception of one tiny branch that got broken off but no harm-no foul. I repotted them right away, one into a bonsai planter and two into one gallon grow bags. I am loving grow bags and growing a large variety of plants with great success. If I have any complaint so far it is the difficulty of finding small bags-even the one gallon size are too large for some projects-bonsai for instance. But long story short if you are like me and tired of ordering seeds that refuse to germinate these guys have your answer-and cost less in the long run when you count your wasted time waiting for that Chinese seed to germinate. And waiting. These are beautiful little trees, already started training when they arrive in a wind-swept look. Honestly all they need is an old army tin-pot, a couple of plastic Army men and a tiny little jeep and you have a gorgeous Korean War themed bonsai garden. ... show more

  • Smaller then product images - Not a good Value
I am not at all happy with these starter tree/plants. They are tiny half dead little twigs. I will be returning them. ASAP Not sure what kind of plants others got, but the ones I got are crap. To help people understand why I'm not happy, besides them being dry and dropping needles right out of the box, please review the pictures. 1st picture is the 9Greenbox Junipers.. barely 4" tall, no branches, basically a clipping off a tree stuck in dirt. $19 for 3 ($6.33 Per plant/twig) 2nd Picture is the Jmbamboo Junipers. (Advertised as 4") but as you can see it is taller, older and more developed. They have an actual trunk and developed branches. $20 for 2 and comes with the little fisherman figurine (if you care) ($10 per plant) The packaging of the these plants wasn't very secure or good. The trees were placed in bags and laid on their side so as the box moved the trees would crush each other. Wish these were what was are advertised. ... show more

  • Healthy, well packed, arrived quickly.
Healthy, well packed, and arrived quickly. I don't know what the problem was with others who said that their plants died. Maybe some instructions included in the shipping package as to how to take care of them would be a good idea. I personally found nothing wrong with them and they are thriving. I do have a green thumb though and know to let them dry out a little, but not to the extreme, before watering them again... that way they are not always wet. They receive indirect bright sunlight instead of direct sun. We live in a dry area and the tray that I set them in has a raised center that keeps them from sitting in water, but it has a reservoir surrounding the center where water can add humidity. I, personally, left the tape on the top to keep them from drying out too fast in our very arid and high temp climate. I hope that some of this information helps others who decide to buy them. ... show more

  • They were nice, but smaller than expected.
They arrived nice and healthy. Packed very well. I was expecting them to be a bit bigger. I ordered these before and the first batch was slightly more grown.

  • Nice plants! Didn't receive number of plants ordered, but seller returned money for those missing.
These plants arrived healthy and full. They were perfect for bonsai. I ordered two sizes (the smaller ones in first photo listed as 4-6").

  • Plants arrived healthy
Plants arrived healthy and in good condition. I only recieved 2 plants, not 3 as advertised.

  • Wonderful
Babies look healthy. The soil was still moist. They are a little Squished due to packaging, but no damage. They just need time to grow and "fluff" out. Lets see if they can live pass 5 years.
