This is a well built tool, unfortunately it didn't work for me. When I clamped the vinyl plank between the rails and slid the knife roller down, it ripped off the tongue on the side of the plank. And it was very hard to even move it. Too hard to use. It doesn't even really make sense since you have to slide the tool on the floor while the plank is in the guides. I just went with my band saw and that worked fine. I have the Bullet chopper and it works great and I had high hopes for this but didn't work for me. ... show more

I love that it cuts straight even pcs. But it has no many bad qualities. It has sharpe pointed corners. the mesure tape on top is not accurate. so there alot of guess work. Or u have to put ur head on the ground its uncomfortable and time consuming. I figured out a way but like i said its time consuming. The locking lever can push the blade so that its not straght. If I didnt have to cut entry ways i would not use this tool. Looking for a better option. ... show more

    • Great product and made installation quick and easy.
I used this product to install about 1000 sqft of vinyl plank flooring. It worked great although, to get a deep enough cut on a single pass, it was easier with two people - one to hold the tool and one to pull it through the blade. It was nice to be able to keep it right with me as I installed due to the small, lightweight design. ... show more

    • do not waste your money
I was very excited to try this tool as i saw it at a trade show a couple years ago and had forgot about it until coming across it on amazon . The tool appeared to be well constructed until I used it on a job the lock lever does not stay engaged so you constantly have to reset width the tool is supposed to make the job easier and save time it actually takes more time to use than a utility knife and straight edge also useless if your pieces are tapered . Disappointed enough to take time out of my busy schedule to write a review and return tool...... ... show more

It was u able to even score a mid grade vinyl plank. After trying to score it twice the cutting wheel broke into pieces. Maybe it would work for a super thin glue down
