This rug adds a nice touch to my living set. The design is chic, the material is soft and easy to clean, and most importantly, this rug is pet-friendly. I got this rug for my home and specifically for my dog to prevent him from slipping. It's a great rug that is easy to manage. I’m trying the washable rugs out. I’m a first time buyer here pets have destroyed my regular rugs! This rug is very soft the colors are beautiful matched my living room perfect. I started out with the smaller rug 6x9 hoping it will fit in my washer. I could have probably got the 8x10 it is not very thick at all but does look like a nice durable rug. I wanted a rug for a high traffic area in our home, this fit and the colors were perfect, I also wanted something I could easily wash. This rug is super soft, but the softness also makes it super slippery to walk across, especially in socks. I liked the rubber backing and the rug stayed in place on the hardwood floor. After a few near slips and falls, I relocated the rug to my daughter’s room to use in a play space since it’s soft. Her room is carpeted and the rug does not stay in place on the carpet. It bunches up and moves when walked across. Since it’s not in a high traffic area, and I love the quality of the rug, I kept it, but not 100% satisfied with it. If it had better traction, I would have kept it in our entrance, but it wasn’t safe for kids or adults to constantly walk across throughout the day. ... show more

I'm so thrilled with this rug that I bought 3 more! Incredibly soft, especially on bare feet, & I love the distressed look (like an old oriental rug). This rug is so soft, when I open the box, I thought there was a mistake, and this was a blanket! But that just makes it feel great underfoot. It comes out exactly as is pictured. Very thin, but I'm not going to put a pad underneath. It is bound around the edges, and for the price, very well made.
