  • Rough around the edges but worked beautifully
Almost gave this four stars because it is not a beautiful, polished tool. It's great to enjoy a beautiful tool. This one is ugly. It looks ugly, it feels ugly, and when you thread attachments on the main rod it scrapes. But this is not a work of art, it is a slide hammer. It's inexpensive and comes with all the attachments you could want. They fit. The slide is heavy. It worked *great*. I was impressed. We had to bend back a car door edge so that the door would open properly. This took two minutes, and the result was quite smooth. You could not ask for a more capable tool. I can't wait until I need this again! I am not looking forward to more problems in my life, but the next problem that can be solved with a slide hammer is toast. ... show more

  • Worked Great
My old slide hammer had disappeared so I picked up this set. Worked fine for pulling a dent that I couldn't get to from behind. A whole set of gizmo attachments with lots of uses. Solid too.

  • Lets be honest about this kit.........
The parts are soft. The slide hammer does work well. The actual hooks and others bend easily. I bent the hooks so many times I had to put them in my press and reshape them. So keep it honest. The kit is inexpensive but saved me over 1500.00 in labor and repairs on the rear quarter panel on a ram 1500 2005. It is not a 5 star item. It is what it is, a 45.00 tool kit that will get one or two jobs done and then it is disposable for scrap metal. Lets be honest about this kit! ... show more

  • Very solid
very nice product. Actually kind of better than I expected for the price. Used for a 2-4 band replacement. Would also recommend using this 10 lb slide hammer to do remove the transmission pump. Very nicely built. Comes with lots of stuff!

  • Quality control
Nice little kit for the money one big problem with it is quality and quality control on all the adapters the threads are flat I was able to make it through fixing two cars and the adapters started popping off no damage to threads on the handle

  • Cheaply made, easily bent, but hey it worked just enough
The small angle piece bent badly. Worse, the screw on handle fell off the first time the slide hammer hit it, so I ended up using another tool end as the "handle". Definitely a cheap tool, but still worked enough to fix a fender.
