The controller works well, and connects to my PC fairly easily. Setting it up to connect to steam was also pretty easy. The packaging is nice and made the controller fun to open. The charging port is also very convenient since I can just leave it on my desk and I won't forget to charge the controller once I'm done using it (like what often happens with my PS4 controller lol). The freebie keychain and magnet were also very cute. The keychain is metal and seems durable. The rubber grips for the controller sticks (I'm not sure what they're actually called) are kind of hard to get on intitially (I was scared of breaking the controller so it took me a little while), but they usually stay on once you get them on. Definitely a worthwhile purchase, especially if you're a Genshin fan. ... show more

The controller looks amazing! It was fun to unbox as a Genshin fan and it has also been really nice to use on the computer. The joysticks are smooth and the buttons don't feel cheap. The buttons have the xbox controller layout. The controller also turns on and off automatically whenever you take it off the dock which is very convenient. The light on the dock turns off when the controller is fully charged up too. The controller front is shiny though, which is a downside personally since I prefer the matte they have on the back, but otherwise, it is perfect. As for the case it comes with, it's pretty good. The case feels sturdy and even has a spot on the back for you to plug in the charging cord. ... show more

This controller definitely takes the cake when it comes to both value and quality. For $60 you are definitely getting way more in this controller than XBOX controller. First off, the Genshin goodies that come with this controller are very nice and definitely stuff to keep. The aesthetics are pleasing and tastefully done to represent the character that they collab'd with. The carrying case that comes included is high quality and allows you to charge the controller when it's inside the case. Functionality wise, the controller provides lots of different customization options from the swapping of buttons to the ability to bind the back triggers to do whatever you want. The buttons themselves and the triggers feel tactile and responsive. In terms of connectivity, there is so much convenience here. You can easily pair the controller with any mobile device and portable gaming consoles. When using it on PC, the dongle being connected to the charging station is a lifesaver when it comes to saving USB ports and desk clutter. Overall, this controller is the best one that I have bought so far and I am very excited to try other options that 8bitdo has to offer. ... show more

On spouse's account - So I picked this up only because of the color palette, design, and compatibility with PC. The fact that it's Genshin didn't matter to me aside from my expectation that the quality should be on point because it's a collaboration. Every other controller I've come across never had the blue pastel colors I like, or they were very cheap quality so I was very excited when I saw this one. Product was securely packaged with no damages, and the blue hues are just perfect. All the buttons and triggers work, and I love that it's case has a butt opening for the charger. The only downside that I had with this order is that my preorder never got processed. Waited four days after the release date and still no change, and the product page was showing 2-day shipping if I reordered it that day. Not sure if it was just my order, or the whole preorder process in general, but Amazon had confirmed it was an internal error and recommend I cancel the preorder and repurchase it. Thankfully when I reordered it on yesterday, it came in today so I didn't have to wait the whole two days. ... show more

Controller is very cute and has all the specifications as advertised. I do really like the included bonuses of key chains and custom joy stick caps. The controller works well to connect with phones and PC. I do wish it had console compatibility but it's understandable it doesn't.

I got really excited when I saw preorders on Twitter because there isnt alot of merch of characters such as Chongyun. Even then, it is hard to obtain such merch here where I am. When I got it, I was very impressed with the weight and the packaging. It was as described as advertised - and yes I did make sure to read the footnote that controllers are not supported on Android if you are wanting to use this controller for Genshin Impact. Although it did take me a moment to get through the instruction on trying to pair my controller with my iPad but got it to work! I have used it for an hour and already loving it! I use to play on a PS4 controller so I had to change some of buttons here and there. The feel is quite nice, it took some time to get use to the shape of the handle compared to a PS4 controller. One thing I note in case you aren’t familiar with putting on rubber caps in the joysticks. What I do it INVERT the caps with the design inside (turn it inside out). Then place and center the rubber cap on top of the joystick and then uncurl the sides so the rubber encases the joystick. Adjust it so it fits snuggly on it. I am looking forward to using this not only for my iPad but for other things that it can support. Update: I found out this controller can connect to my Nintendo Switch as a Pro Controller, but if you are like me and can’t stand the buttons being switched around, you can always map the buttons on the Switch.
