  • 50 gal water tanks for fresh water delivery and wast disposal
Size: 50 gallon
I use this tank to bring fresh water to our RV and I use a second tank to remove wast from the RV. The tanks are well made and a good value. Be careful to have a good pickup location when delivered, these takes are big. It took a few weeks to get them. I would make a few changes to the tanks that would fit my use case. Make the tanks 1.5" lower. I have the two tanks side by side in the bed of my pickup truck. I had to shave off the fins on the black screw in cap on the top of the tanks so I could place the flat rigid pickup bed cover on. I would also place the tank fill port a bit lower so there is less water in the bottom of the tank after it's drained. I got around this by screwing a right angle GHT thread hose adapter on the inside of the fill port of the tank and then pointing the adapter right angle face down. I hooked a $60 12 volt Seaflow SFDP1-030-045-33 pump on it. It now drains the tanks almost dry. I also placed the tanks on a 1/2" board at the front of the tank, elevating the front to drain it better. I will include a picture but understand this is not completed. I will end up with two pumps mounted in the bed of the truck wired to the battery with switches on the dashboard for each pump. I am now working on installing a macerator (Jabsco model 18590-2092) on the RV that will pump the wast to the 50 gal wast tank. One important part is the (BANJO Reducing Coupling, 1 1/2 X 1 In Fpt, Poly). I have not got this part yet but I think it will allow me to connect the macerator to a 1" pipe that will connect to a 1" port I will install on the RV dump tube. I will run a hose from the pump wast outlet to the wast tank in the pickup. I think the whole thing will cost less that $600. Now I will no longer need to pull my travel trailer to get fresh water or to dump wast. I use the pickup truck to do the transfer. In the picture notice I have wired the two take to the bed of the pickup with steel cable and turn buckles. I am a full time RVer so I went to the local post office and set up (with out cost) a general delivery account where Amazon can deliver. I should make a few other points, the upper port on the top of the back side of the tanks I cut my self. I bought the gray threaded port fittings from Az as well. If I were doing the again I think I would put the ports I cut in the take on the top near the back instead on on the back side this is because, you will notice I run the city water through a blue RV water filter before the fresh water enter the tank this filter removed the chlorine so we add a table spoon of Chlorox is no different then the chlorine used to chlorinate drinking water. I also purchase a low cost chlorine testing kit and test the chlorine level after we pump the water into the RV fresh water tank. By placing the port on the top of the tank it would make it easier to pour the chlorine into the tank. I could remove the large black cap form the top the take and put the chlorine in there but found it easier to not fold back the pickup bed cover that farther than shown in the picture. ... show more

  • Fertilizer/Herbicide/Pre-Emerge Spray Tank
Size: 50 gallon
Have been using this for the last three months to spray my neighbors and my yard. Very sturdy and fits in the back of my truck without any problems. I have it hooked up to a 3.5 gallon per minute pump attached to a strainer attached to 100 ft of clear poly tubing and a Lesco Chemlawn spraygun all bought here on Amazon. Only parts not from Amazon were the plastic connectors bought from TSC connecting the tank to the tubing. For considerably less than that of a pre-built rig, overall the whole setup works like a charm. You just have to remember to leave the cap unscrewed due to the suction pressure the pumps pulls or the sides of the tank will bow in (ask me how I know this!). ... show more

  • Great tank but small drip
Size: 50 gallon
I filled the tank for the first time and noticed a small drop more of a steady drop coming g from around the tank seal. I will have to look into this more and see what is causing that. Overall tank is great for carrying water and using it on the property The strap lines for securing is a must and they work. Great. ... show more

  • Very sturdy tank
Size: 100 gallon
Nice 100 gallon tank. No bulging at all when full. In the close up pic of the tank it has 105 gallons in it. The truck is slightly nose low so it would look more full if level. Very easy to fill and has a pressure relief valve in the cap. It has a female 3/4 inch NPT outlet, so I bought a plastic adapter male to male 3/4 NPT to 3/4 GHT (garden hose thread. I then could attach a Y adapter so I could attach two hoses. One hose will give me gravity fed cold water at the tailgate. And the other hose runs to the 12 volt pump in the truck bed that pumps water into the cargo trailer/RV conversion for the shower and kitchen sink. The Amazon source that offered free shipping ran out of stock. After a few days, I ordered the tank from another Amazon source that charged around $200 to Arizona for shipping. As soon as it shipped, the company with free shipping got them back in stock. So watch out you don’t end up paying for shipping if you don’t have to. I do recommend this tank. ... show more
