I placed these in four different areas of the house the first day to test out how much sun they would get and where they looked the best. Was hoping for a better outcome and expected to buy more after the results. The first night they all lit up and looked great. They lasted well into the might as well. They are bit flimsy where the individual rods connect to the plastic base and come out with little to no effort. On the second night 4 out of the 8 units worked. I moved all units to an area where there is 6 hrs of sun minimum. And then 2 out of 8 worked by the fourth day. after a week none work. I have cycled thru the modes, placed in different areas and adjusted solar panels accordingly. They simply go dead after a few days. I had high hopes for this product. So, let my bad experience help your decision - Don't buy this. Its not worth it. ... show more

I get many compliments on these lights and bought more for my garden, this 8 pack is great. The solar works well and they're easy to install and turn on. I love the warm color and the LED are bright.

    • NOT WORTH IT!!!
After installing in my yard, and I ordered two orders. They all worked one night! The next night 8 of them didn't come on. I put new batteries in all of them! I've had them for a week now and 5 or more want come on! Put new batteries in them again! Some of them have pulled out and wires showing. I should have returned them, but think I've waited too long. REALLY DISAPPOINTED!!! Waste of money!!! ... show more

The only reason that these didn't get a 5 is that one out of eight never worked properly. They have been working great all summer. Bringing them in for the winter.

    • Flimsy low grade
First the packaging is poor. Just loosely thrown in the box. Solar panels scratched up. Solar light stems are flimsy and easily broken. I set them up outside. The first night they all came on. The next night one wasn’t working. The next night 2 didn’t work and another one was falling apart. I started the return process. These are not worth the money. It’s a shame. I did like the way they looked….maybe I will try a different brand. ... show more

    • Fragile and Flimsy 2/8 survived
Unfortunately these last about two days before giving way. The section where the lights meet the holder is weak. 2/8 “were” sturdy. My husband had to fix where the lights meet the holder by putting electrical tape on it. Epic fail. Also, they were places to avoid any wind that may cause a problem. It isn’t windy where I live but I still wanted them to be protected. I’m sad to say that I would not recommend this item. ... show more
