Loved that when I picked up the box from the porch, that it was heavy. For 60 bucks I was uncertain of the level of quality I had just purchased. Very pleased with this item. Very well packed heavy duty packaging. The instructions were just pictures with the parts and screws labeled. Everything went together smoothly. All the parts are clearly marked. All screws are in like a sealed blister pack on cardboard. Took about a leisurely half an hour to fully assemble. Thankfully everyone of the supporting slats just slips into a tight groove. (Don't have to screw each end down) The frame is very stout, and has plastic inserts in the ends of the legs. No creaks at all. It's exactly the size of my mattress, doesn't stick out past the mattress at all. Lot's of room underneath for me to build some drawers on wheels to slide under. Super happy with quality. And both tools needed are included. Yes my mattress does easily slide around on top but I think attaching a couple of rubber strips on top of a few of the slats would eliminate movement when making the bed. ... show more

The frame broke on one of our beds right before Christmas and I didn’t have time to store shop for another. I've been looking for a simple, but sturdy king-sized bed frame, and this is it! I wanted no frills and relatively low to the ground. This isn't the prettiest bed frame, but it's hard to see it anyway. You could also add a skirt to cover the metal legs if desired. This thing is a breeze to set up, I did it mostly alone with a little bit of assistance from an 8 year old. The reason I love it the most is the sturdiness. This thing doesn't budge or squeak or slip on my hardwood floors, no matter what goes down. It also feels supportive and comfortable. I bought this bed frame because my last one was broken and I wanted something sturdier and higher. This bed is great for the price but it tends to move around and I don’t like that. Was incredibly easy to set up on my own without my hubby's help. I loved the grey bed frame, but it was too tall for my small 10lb poodles. My dogs are getting older and constantly waking us up at night to drink water. They can now jump down and back up without waking us. We don't have kids but at the rate they were waking us, felt like we did. We already had the bunky boards and had no place to store them, so put them on. The frame is pretty sturdy without them though. FYI, the bolts were difficult to tighten with the included tools. I used an additional tool for that part as shown by the pic above. The package was small enough to carry alone. It looks like a lot when you first see the nuts and bolts but it's basic. They have a section of extra parts in case you are missing some but mine where all correctly packaged with the correct number. Just take a minute and look carefully at the part #'s before you start. It's basic. It took me about 30 minutes to open it, set it up, and depose of the boxes. It's low and takes a bit of getting used to when you go to lay down. So glad that I took a chance with this bed frame. Super low to the ground. Exactly the height I need. Extremely sturdy. Bed doesn’t budge. I did put a thick non-slip rug pad under the mattress so it doesn’t slip against the metal frame. Since I have hardwood floors, I bought rubber caps for the legs and then put rubber floor protectors under each leg. Got them on Amazon, too. It feels very sturdy, it does not move or rock. The bed frame was easy to assemble and comes with holes in the legs to attach a headboard. In the picture’s I posted in reviews, I didn’t attach my headboard to the bed frame yet because it was getting late. It comes with all the tools and screws you need to assemble the bed frame. It comes with extra screws just in case you strip the star or flat screw when trying to screw it on.
