I love this chandelier. It is so beautiful. It’s really a great statement piece. The only this is you need a little patience. I suggest pliers to attach the crystals. Overall this took me about 4 hrs to assemble. I love it.

Good: 1. Beautiful fixture. 2. Great Value for money. 3. Enough spare pieces. Bad: 1. The fixture is heavy even without the crystals. So hanging it up is definitely a two person job. Given the protudibg bulb holders right in the center, it is difficult to balance it on ladder or stool while trying to fix the frame/holder to the ceiling. 2. The outside row of rectangular crystals are not equal and some have very minute length differences. Pls refer to my photos. If that is something that will bother you, be vary. You can fix it by adjusting the the hook length but it could be very time consuming. 3. Hanging 170 strands of crystal will need atleast an hour or so once you get the knack. It didn't bother me much once i got a hang of it. Play some music/podcast and hang the crystals. Lessons Learnt/Tips that could make the install easier 1. Once you finalize the approximate height you want the light to hang at, coil & manage the extra metal wires with zipties to keep them in place. 2. The main power supply wire is quite thick and long. It is best to cut the extra length (after leaving extra inches for later adjustments of course). Otherwise the hanging plate will not have enough space to store all that extra couled wire. I tried without cutting the excess length and it was quite a task to fix up everything only to know that one of the wires got disconnected from power supply in the process. Had to uninstall, cut the excess and put everything back up. 3. DO NOT hang the crystals until you are happy with the height, angle, level and everything else. Once the crystals go on, every adjustment becomes 10x difficult. 4. While hanging the crystal strands, start from center inside. The crystal ball strand go in very quickly. 5. Try to maintain balance on both sides while installing the strands else due to the weight the light fixture may tilt to one side. 6. The outer rectangular crystal strands take longer and are not exactly same length. If it bothers you, you can fix it by adjusting the hooks. I left it because i thought it was too much work. 7. 25w light bulbs looked perfect to us. Tried 40w initially and it was way too bright. Additional Tip: I have ordered small lanyard hooks to add to the two crystal ball strands (40 strands out of 80) in the center to make it longer than the one outside, so that i get a tiered look. I will update the pictures, once done. I think the tiered look will take the light fixture up a notch. Hope this helps. ... show more

We bought this beautiful chandelier. It looks great after we installed it. It is a bit difficult to install and requires some patience. (1) The wires were not labeled or marked for hot and neutral, they looked the same. So, we had to guess, we chose the one that had a bit of writing on it and it turned to be the black, hot wire, making the other one the neutral, white one. We tested with one bulb before full install and it came on. (2) We didn't realize that the clip that attaches to the base of the chandelier DOES NOT have to be aligned to the clip that is attached to the connector box in the attic. This caused our installation to be slightly off line/not straight. Got it done with tweaking the connecting cables up/down for a while, but could have been easier. (3) The crystals were MUCH EASIER to install than other chandeliers we have purchased. The balls made it look really great compared to straight-lined glasses. (4) If we did it again, we would have purchased a chandelier with a single chain in the middle and it would have been MUCH EASIER, but didn't find one, searching a long time, do we had to settle for a cabled option. Chain would have eliminated all the tweaking. (5) We shortened the cables by about 8 inches - very easy, just push them up into the base. We also knotted the cables and the power line in the base, that made the installation easier. (6) You need 2 people to do this job - one to install, the other to hold. We had an 8 foot ladder to reach a 12 foot height ceiling, it worked, but preferred to have a 10 footer and an 8 footer for the holder. Overall, a great piece. We had all the kids working getting the crystals together and attaching them. It took us from beginning to end, about 3 or 4 hours; could have been at least 1-2 hours shorter. Since we were replacing an existing/old chandelier, we didn't have to go into the attic and attach a "fan box" to hold 75 to 150 pounds, it was already there. Oh...one thing to note, the lights projection is downward, which we didn't really think about when we purchased it. It's fine, but the previous light we had had an all-around kind of projection because the top was clear glass and allowed light to also go up. Something to be aware. ... show more

Its a pretty chandeliers but lacks property instructions to assemble. They need to add instructions on adding the crystals on the instructions which they barely mentioned. I had to look at other reviews, pictures to make sense of which section of crystals need to go first. Secondly, the crystals sent were packaged in a such a way that the hooks are not even correct, one has to fix the hook after attaching to the chandelier. Edited: The seller reached out to me asking the reason for my 3 star rating. They were very helpful in offering extra pieces or any sort of help needed from their side along side improving the instructions manual. I would rate 5 stars for their prompt customer service and readiness to help. The chandelier is beautiful piece and worth purchasing. ... show more

Not sure why anyone would less than a 5 star. Maybe because it takes awhile to assemble the crystals. I just sat down and watched tv while putting the balls together. Very easy to install but it does take 2 people. Looks like a very expensive chandelier
