Features

  • IMPORTANT 7artisans is committed to provide quality manual focus mirrorless camera lens, which needs to set the "release without lens" mode on your camera after installing the lens, or you would not press the shutter and take photos or videos.
  • HIGH-RESOLUTION IMAGES35mm full-frame sensor. The newly designed optical and mechanical structure fully realises the combination of high resolution images and high quality ED, high refractive index glass, ensuring a richly detailed picture. Effectively reduce the color offset phenomenon, so that the image has more artistic sense.
  • ALMOST "ZERO" BREATHING EFFECT Breathing effect when focusing can be controlled. Stability of the image frame even when vignetting occurs when refocusing. The high-quality MC multilayer coating used by the lens increases the transmittance of the light, effectively reduces dazzling and ghosts. It provides a higher level of contrast.
  • T2.0 LARGE APERTUREThe 35mm lens in the Spectrum series offers a constant aperture of up to 2.0 and a minimum of T16. It can shoot bright pictures in low light environment. The 10 aperture blades create a soft and natural focus transition, making the picture vivid without being stiff.
  • 270 DEGREE EXTRA LONG FOCUS TRAVELThe extra-long 270 degree focusing stroke and stepless focusing gear design, which can be adapted to various follow focusers, guarantee accurate focusing during shooting. The focus movement is more delicate, more precise and finer. It meets the requirements of professionals for focusing performance.

  • Beautiful yet unremarkable modern cine lens
*: L-Mount(Sigma/Panasonic/Leica)
This lens has the characteristics of vintage lenses (easy flaring and aberrations), along with more modern sharpness. I used it on my Sigma FP. Pros: affordable price. Robust housing. Many native mounting options available. Very good sharpness. Low T-stop. Cons: color rendition is not neutral (correctable in post), flares and aberrations give it more vintage vibes. Full disclosure: I’m a lens enthusiast and own Nikkor and Vivitar lenses which I use for video. I also own 5 of the legendary Lomo Oks 1-xx-1 Cine lenses (comparable to Zeiss and Cooke optics). Many of the vintage lenses outperform this one and give a more interesting and balanced image. In terms of image quality, the optics here are comparable to Nikkor (AI) photo lenses. All in all, a nice lens to own but I won’t be building out a full set. ... show more

  • Beware
*: Z-Mount(Nikon)
I haven't even had the chance to take the lens for a test run before running into issues, so I thought I'd leave this as a warning to anyone else who - like me - is planning to use this to build a basic DSLR/mirrorless rig for videography. This lens is built like a tank and seems reliable, but it's *short*. There's no way to use this with both follow focus and a matte box, unless you're using a very narrow follow focus unit or one that has an extension arm. (And even then, I have to wonder if there's enough room between the focus ring and the end of the lens to squeeze in a FF unit.) I'm not sure why someone would design a cine lens that's without room for these things in mind. It's a beautiful lens and solidly built, and if the reviews are correct, it provides good results for its price, but I was extremely disappointed to run into issues before ever even getting to shooting - buyer beware. ... show more
