Finally found a battery that properly connects to the motherboard. These after-market batteries all seem to have about the same capacity, that is, about 3/4 of a factory installed battery. But they can vary considerably in how well and firmly they connect to the motherboard. This one *connects*. For what it's worth, attach the battery first without adhesive to see how it naturally fits in the case. After applying adhesive strips, try to have this same alignment.     • My Qi charging doesn’t work now, otherwise the battery life seems improved over my old battery

Unfortunately the Qi charging no longer works on my phone now. The battery life seems to be improved over my old battery at least in the first few hours of use. Another problem is that my iPhone battery settings is not able to determine the battery health of this new battery. It doesn’t give me a percentage of battery life.     • Phone shows 100% health!

After changing the battery, it shows 45% charge which is expected (needs to be charged). I was surprised to see that the iPhone 8Plus shows the battery health as 100% capacity! I just changed another battery (different brand) for an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and it showed no battery health info!!!
