For the price this is quite a nice lamp. Bright (and slide-adjustable to lower level) and seems to be sturdy (we'll see how it holds up). We had a small problem initially, but the customer service from these folks was top-notch, and we are quite happy.

I grabbed the instructions and laughed because it was a male action, not thinking to read and forging ahead thinking I know how.
