I usually don’t write reviews, but after reading the reviews on this item, I decided to. After removing all the parts in a spare bedroom, I wondered what I had gotten myself into (especially since I was building this myself and could not ask for help as it was part of a surprise). Anyway, I read the directions, I put the pieces together numerically, and I built this in two days (a few hours each day). Once I had to undo a step as I didn’t look at the directions carefully, but it was easy to undo and assemble correctly. Once the dresser was together I was able to move it into the spare bedroom by myself and then finished assembling the drawers. Tips: - Look at the drawings closely, especially details regarding orientation of pieces - DO use a drill or good electric screwdriver (otherwise it will take quite a while to assemble and you’ll have blisters on your hands) - Do not remove stickers until complete - When it starts to feel overwhelming, take a break and come back later I love the look and size. Once product was put together, the drawers do not align properly. Some don’t shut all the way due to the way the dresser pieces have been cut. Some pieces came busted or looking like they’ve had the finishing ripped off before any screws were even placed into the parts! Customer service takes forever to respond and only wants to refund $50 and along with sending replacement parts. That would require sending another dresser so I can deal with the same issues when that one is put together also! So disappointed... ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love my new chest of drawers! The quality is fantastic and it looks even better in person than it did in the pictures. Actually, I bought a similar wood dresser 2 yrs ago, taller than this one but cost almost 400 bucks. I was pregnant at that time so I also spent about 80 bucks to assemble it. But now this one, truly easily assemble as I did it as the instructions step by step. The dresser is beautiful once assembled. However, it does come in a million pieces and took over 6 hours to put together. I’m giving it a 3 for the duration of sorting parts and assembly.

I didn’t give it 5 stars only because the top small drawers weren’t made correctly. The left and right drawers fit fine but the middle drawer slightly overlaps the left one. I can close them but at the same time. If not the middle drawer hits the one on the left and won’t close. The drawers aren’t very big so you can’t fit too much clothes. The media could not be loaded. I was looking for furniture for my living room and now I'm jealous that I'm not putting this furniture set in my bedroom. I wanted some thing that looks nice, wasn't too expensive, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of what I received. Not only do they look great but they are a heavier material so they feel more durable as well. I love this so much, I'm tempted to buy another set for another room.
