The desk instructions were written well. Went together good. Only issue was on the metal stand it had scratches on the part that affixed to the leg. You can’t see that. It seems solid. I would recommend if you need a nice electric standing desk.

The media could not be loaded. I like it so much! It fits my room so well!! It took me about 60 minutes on my own, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. All the necessary tools were included. Being able to alternate between sitting and standing has made my workday much more comfortable!! The setup was not too difficult, just had to pay a little attention to the side up or down, in or out and you should be just fine. Watching the little instructional video on the product page also helped. One thing to keep in mind is to make sure you secure the motor to the frame with the 2 small screws. I was in the middle of putting this desk together and got called away, came back, and somehow missed this important step :). Luckily, I double-check and noticed a set of screws left in an unopened pouch before turning the motor :). The good thing is I did not have to dis-assembled the whole tabletop, just unscrewed the 10 or 12 screws under the desk on the metal brackets and slide the tabletop over just a little to give me enough room to access and screw on the top motor screw. Once everything is assembled correctly, it was smooth sailing from there, just plug in and try it out. So I was a little surprised to see how smooth and quiet the motor runs. For such a small motor, it was able to raise and lower the top very smoothly and not too slow as well. Easy to operate with the Up and Down buttons along with 2 pre-set buttons, just press and hold to set each preset button. I use one to set the high position when I am standing up and the other for sitting down, it's very quick and convenient. The desk top is not a single piece but rather 2 pieces to make them easy to transport I guess, it's really not an issue for me though, just wanted to point that out. Other than that, I should've gotten this desk sooner, no more bending down whenever I need to stretch my legs while using my keyboard. Would be nice to add a little shelf or stand for my computer box below the desk but I think I can have an idea. ... show more

I admit I had my doubts when this arrived, but I'm so pleased with it! I needed a standing desk because sometimes I just think better standing up and being able to walk around when I'm writing or creating - and this desk is nice enough to be in my living room and functional because I use it seated or standing. The wood veneer is a lovely warm tone that's medium in color - not too light or too dark, and the black metal legs leave plenty of room underneath for a footstool or storage. The drawers are made of fabric, but they work fine to hold my sticky notes and pens. It took me about an hour to assemble, but there are just pictures, no words - and I'm good at assembling furniture. It may be harder for someone who doesn't do it often, but it's doable. The raise and lower functions are easy to deal with, and they work. I'm pleased with this. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I like the design and build of this desk, generally. Very solid construction and even a few extra screws, just in case. Read more to see my electric controller concerns. Building it was a breeze and should be somewhat familiar to anyone who has put together one of those assemble-it-yourself kits from a popular Swedish company. If doing it by yourself, give yourself a few hours to get it right the first time. I unloaded the parts from the shipping box and brought them upstairs to my assembly area piece by piece. The complete package is much too heavy to carry at once. IMHO. This desk is exactly the look and form of what I was looking for and I'm pretty satisfied with the solid structure and ease of assembly. However, they kind of 'cheaped out' by including the 2 fabric drawers. I would have vastly preferred solid drawers, even the typical inexpensive composite ones. I'll look into alternatives when I get a chance. 2nd concern is the controller for the motor raising and lowering of the desk. Seems strong enough when it works. But I'm occasionally getting unexplained errors which freeze it up. I've found unplugging the controller and repeating some of the start up instructions recalibrate it and it settles down working perfectly. Until the next time it freezes. May be user error. But I'm only giving it 2 stars until I can solve the control problem. It's a shame. Kit quality of the non-electric parts is better than I've recently seen from the big Swedish store. But I got it specifically for its motorized elevation feature. Hope I can work it out. Too heavy for me to return. Not recommended until I can be confident the motor will work consistently. ... show more

The instructions that came with this was super confusing and frustrating Towards the end. It doesnt really go into detail so even if you try to align your parts to look like the diagram you're given then it would still come out wrong. Its a very frustrating process but I would say its worth it. This has got to be the most beautiful desk ive ever seen. Set aside time for building this cause there will be several errors and when you realize that, youre going to be rebuilding some parts over and over again. ... show more
