I really like this cover. For this winter I hung my NovaCraft 16' PAL canoe in our tall garage, about 10' up, meaning I won't be seeing the canoe until springtime. But when I look at it again, I don't want to see 4-5 months of dust buildup. This cover zipped up nicely with about an inch to spare at each end of the canoe, and has enough slack on the sides to handle a variety of canoe styles. I won't judge the water resistance because I'm not storing it outside, but the material is thick and certainly seems capable of shedding any moisture. ... show more

The cover was nice and packaged well. It came with a bag to hold the cover in, but not sure we would ever use that as the cover is around the kayak unless the kayak is being used. The cover was larger than expected and it was easy to slide the kayak in. However, when going out to remove the cover there was water inside the cover and kayak, even though they were stored on a rack. ... show more

We put our kayaks in these covers and zipped them up. Put them on the kayak stand and then after the first heavy rain they were full of so much water we could hardly get the kayaks down. It is also key to note that the zippers were on the center front and the kayaks were in the stand on the side - so the zipper was not on the top where the water fell. Once we got them unzipped and most of the water out we took down the kayaks, got out the rest of the water. Invested in a cover for the stand + Kayak covers (what a huge waste of $) and then tried to zip them back in and the zipper broke! These covers are 100% JUNK! I understand Kayaks will be okay if they get wet. But come on - if you choose to buy a waterproof cover - it should WORK! ... show more

I had a hard time finding a kayak cover that would go around the entire Moken 12.5 V2 because it has a 32” width and was 12.5 feet long. The others would not accommodate the shape or width or had to be 16’ long which just looked stupid. This one is a tad long and a tad to wide so it is a little baggy but nothing like the others I’ve tried. So far this seems to be the best choice if you want to put the entire kayak in a bag. I can’t speak to how this will hold up or if it is waterproof as we have them inside. We got the covers to keep the spiders, mud wasp and dust off them and for that it works great. I wish the zipper went all the way down to make it easier put the kayak in, that is my only complaint. ... show more

The quality has definitely improved as my second cover was noticeably better than the first I bought a few months back. If you keep kayaks outdoors, I highly recommend using these covers as I have only found 2 small bugs in my kayak after months of outdoor storage. They give extra wiggle room so fitting a 10 foot kayak is no problem at all. The bags slid on very easily, it was a 30 second process. Normally what I do with my kayaks before leaving them outside in Floridian conditions is spray them down with raid, store them, then spray the zipper with raid as well, I find this works very well for me, as no nasty bugs have gotten in since I’ve done this. ... show more
