Looks aren’t everything! The instructions and the YouTube video a joke. Instructions are pictures , nothing written. The video is in-super speed with no written or oral instructions. We have a very high sloped ceiling. A part was missing, so we had to make adjustments and use some parts that we had to make it usable on a slope. The fixture is black, but the nut to secure the hanging rod to the ceiling canopy is silver. Nothing else on the fixture is silver. We had to paint it Black. I really like the light and it is fully dimmable, which was important to me, but there were just too many things had to be tweaked with this installation. ... show more

This light has a premium appearance and quality manufacturing. Assembly is relatively simple, and the frame looks very uniform in both color and physical build. The matte gold look is very natural. This medium to large-sized fixture is excellent quality with a modern farmhouse feel.
