I bought this for my son as he is transitioning from a toddler size mattress to a twin. We opened the box and it was rolled up and vacuum packed, we let it sit for the full 72 hours as recommended. I did not notice any weird smells or anything of that nature as most say they do when unboxing a bed. This mattress is comfortable and thick! My toddler is on cloud 9 with this new mattress!
