This is indeed a low-pile rug, so despite the claim in the ad verbiage, it is by no means "fluffy". The ad also states you can use a vacuum cleaner on it, which is true, but that works with my own vacuum only if I raise it about half-way up; otherwise, the rug's thin enough that it gets pulled up into the vacuuming mechanism, threatening to "bruise" it. All that said, I like it. I put it in a particularly high-traffic area (see photo). But you should note that this rug, despite its "machine washable" claim, will not really fit into a standard home washing machine. You could, however, fit it into a laundromat one because they're usually a few degrees larger. This rug would work best, given the difficulty of washing it, in either a low-traffic area, or in a home where the floors are kept very clean, probably because everyone has to remove shoes on entering the home (that's the rule where I live). You could probably wash it with a carpet washing machine, but my guess is it'd be a struggle to keep it from being sucked up into it. If your area has shades of gray or tan, this would work fine from a color-matching point of view. See how it picks up the light gray paint and beige fieldstone of the fireplace in my photo. So, bottom line, if you can commit to keeping it clean by not really getting it dirty in the first place (avoiding walking on it in street shoes, for example), then it's a good deal. Otherwise, you might find that it becomes obviously dirt-marked too quickly to justify the effort you have to expend to clean it. If you have a bedroom or other non-central room with hardwood or laminate floors, and one where shoes are rarely if ever worn, this would be an ideal use for this rug. It provides a respectable but not abundant padded feeling, and the firm surface beneath would keep it from wrinkling up or distorting. It's satisfactory if you can make the "no shoes on this" commitment, as we have. Or if you have an off-the-beaten-path hardwood or laminate floor to use it on (tile or marble would work, too), that would be a good place for it, as well. This rug matches perfectly. I got the gray/rust color and it looks exactly as pictured. I put a 1/4” rug pad underneath to give it a little more cushion. It is very smooth, almost slippery, but it hasn’t been an issue. Very happy with my purchase!

This WondRg 6x9 Washable Area Rug Grey and White Abstract arrived well packaged, folded into a square in a tight plastic bag. I pulled it out of the bag, unfolded and let it sit flat overnight. The next day, we moved the table and placed the rug on the floor where we needed it. I steamed it to help remove creases and we used rug grippers in the corner to make it more secure to the porcelain tile floor. That allowed us to stretch it out more before placing the furniture. The edges are not perfectly straight but if you weren't lining it up with the tiles, you would not notice this with normal use. I love the feeling of walking on it. While it is thin and lightweight for the size, it does not feel that way once you position it on the floor. I hae not had any spills so can no speak to ease of cleaning but feel with my little spot shampooer, cleaning will be a breeze. While I could not wash anything this size in my top load washer with agitator, I am sure I could use a heavy duty washer at a laundromat. I don't think I have ever had a large enough washer, even a heavy duty front loader, to handle something of this size. I really love this rug! ... show more
