I really like these frames and they're very well made. I did not incorporate the pins as I find them a bit odd. I also took off a star for the gold one. In person, it looks more like a bronze, orange-y color and not at all gold or brass like other frames I have. I may end up painting it to give it the more yellow hue that gold has. ... show more

These frames are lightweight plastic or wood (I really can’t tell) and have no glass. They are easy to use. The backs come off easily. You can hang on the wall or set up on a desk or shelf. The decorations are really nice and heavy. I had trouble attaching mine to the frame, just because I was afraid of scratching the front cover. They also seem to have a pin attached so you could use them as a brooch. Very interesting. If you just want to fancy up your photos a bit, these are great frames. ... show more

This Christmas photo is a bit confusing. The frame is a regular one that comes with two decorative hooks. The problem that I have is that the hooks do not stay mounted. If I put them on the top or top corner, they keep sliding down. I had to put the hook on the bottom and you can't really see it because I have it on a mantel. Other than that it is fine but the part of the frame that makes it Christmas-y is unnoticeable and that is disappointing. ... show more

I ordered the set that included the Christmas decorations, and they are great! The wooden frames themselves are elegant and very attractive -- they look much better than other frames at this price point. Instead of glass they have acrylic panels and you can't tell the difference. Except if they are dropped they won't break like glass would. So that's a plus. The frames are fine, if a little inexpensive looking. The problem is the charms, which are very cute. They were difficult to get on properly (especially the tree) and one of the charms arrived broken (the back that holds it onto the frame was completely detached).
