    • Well made sturdy jack. Hooks to existing DC system.
My trailer is a little older, a Forest River and this works well with it. You really want to make sure you check the tongue weight on any of these, as it was almost at the limit of my trailer tongue weight. Installation is a few bolts and a plug, and the plug is standard RV issue. Mine was replaced with a different type, so I had to redo it with the new type to fit this jack. All in all its well made and I have had no issues with it leveling the front, or getting it ready to tow. I sprayed the jack ram with some silicone spray to keep it running smoothly but that isn't necessary. ... show more

I got this for my 08 Palomino Stampede 17' hybrid travel trailer - Buttercup. She's just a lil' gal but she is all prettied up and has all the best RV gadgets thanks to Vine. We are weekend warriors and Hubby is not the camping type so I end up doing all the set up. I came across this electric trailer jack and yes - it is completely over kill for my little trailer but since I got it thru the Vine program I just could not resist. This thing is a beast and works great! It was easy to install and comes with mounting hardware that is great hefty quality. I spliced the electrical into my battery set so it is direct & always has power when we land at the site. It is simple to operate which is appreciated - no reason to have a bunch of variable controls that just make it more time consuming to set up. I do love, like LOVE, the included light - has come in so handy when we arrive at our site at night. It is also very quiet which is great when we land at night too - less disturbing to our neighbors. The motion is smooth and a good speed - not to fast but not to slow either. The foot plate is a nice circumference and has holes to be mounted to a block for extra stability. The entire unit has a sturdy & heavy duty feel - I feel very secure with it, no fear that it will loosen and collapse or wobble off it's foot. It comes with an emergency crank incase you find yourself with no power which is easy and smooth to use. The 23.2" lift has been plenty for us - rarely do we even use 1/2 of the range. I just LOVE it - such a simple and really unnecessary thing but after a long day of driving and all the other million setup things that I have to do it is super nice to be able to use the electric jack quick and effortlessly then get on to the next thing. It is a perk that I would never give up. I have also been able to delegate this task to my 14yo daughter and it makes the whole leveling and securing bit of set up so much easier. ... show more

Put it on my 25ft Toyhauler, all holes lined up like they should for bolting up. Wiring it in wasnt too difficult and total install was less than an hour (hardest part was getting the old bolts off). Function works well its not to fast orslow when lifting, and having the light there is very nice. Only draw back is the total plastic head on it but they molded in enough curves into the design to help with rigidity nice just leaving a square plastic cover to easily break.     • Basic jack is a great addition to our small trailer
This thing is well-equipped to handle way more than our trailer weighs, but it does it in a package that is way smaller and lighter than the original that came with our camper. It was easy to install with the standard tri-bolt arrangement. The hookup was easy as well. I used my original fuse assembly for this, so it was just a quick connect with some heat-shrink covers. This thing is also a good value - I'm seeing prices come down for all of these, but this one balances out the quality with the cost and I really like it. I may get a spare . .. ... show more

Easy swap. I had to splice wiring, but this was expected and easy. This jack lifts trailer tongue 30% to 40% faster than orginal unit when it was new.
