The alarm is touchy and loud. the egg turning mechanism disconnects itself periodically and is flimsy. It does maintain good heat and moisture though its not without its flaws. I have never had over a 12 egg incubator. This one holds a whole load full (55) of chicks. I use this for hatching and reselling. So far I've had the eggs in there for about 2 weeks and the humidity has remained great for the amount of eggs. I will post an update after they hatch. The temperature is remaining a constant 100-101 so the eggs will hatch right on time or possibly a day or two early. I like the digital aspect of it as it makes it simple and the see through top and half sides are a plus. ... show more

The humidity doesn’t seem to stay right but the rest of the product is great. It keeps great temperature and the eggs are growing as they should be.

    • There is a learning curve
Bought this for my daughter, for her chicken farm. Once they got the hang of the humidity levels, there was a great hatching percentage. Out of 55 eggs, maybe four or 4 or 5 didn’t make it. Some of the duck eggs were a bit huge, but it was a great investment

    • Humidity level not stable
Becareful how you clean this. There are no instructions on how they want you to clean. I rinsed the bottom in my shower, like I do with all my incubators. After they, I could not get it to hold a stable humidity level. I would add multiple bottles of water, only to have it read the lowest humidity. Took almost half a gallon of water to read 55 degrees. That's even with the unit wrapped in towels top to bottom. ... show more

This is the greatest incubator I have ever seen! With the big size and all the digital views, you can easily manipulate the temperature and humidity of the hatching environment. The unit stopped heating after a couple days. Sadly I had I had no backup incubator for my eggs
