Description

The SU-100 was a Soviet SPG commissioned in 1944. The genesis of this model involved the need to strengthen self-propelled artillery at the end of the war. The newly constructed D10 - 100 mm cannon was mounted on the slightly modified hull of the popular SU-85. In the period 1944-46, about 4,500 units of this vehicle were produced. The SPG was very popular, serving in dozens of armies around the world. Several countries still keep the SU-100 on standby. The SU-100 SPG model is entirely designed with COBI building blocks. The inclusion of many awesome pad prints has enabled the vehicle to be faithfully reproduced. The set does not contain stickers at all, only prints! And the prints do not scratch or smear even during heavy use. The model is equipped with efficient crawler traction, a movable gun and openable hatch. Under the service flap there is a detailed motor. The set includes blocks with Soviet and Polish markings to choose from, another innovative and fun feature COBI brings to the set. The set is complemented by a figure of a soldier with a Mauser rifle, a cap and a red banner. The easy-to-read manual contains a list of blocks and statistics that you can use in the free COBI Historical Battle Game. This COBI kit is ideal for the construction of dioramas reproducing the Eastern Front. The SU-100 is the perfect gift idea for anyone of any age and a great start to your COBI construction set adventure.

  • Great Accurate P-38 Kit, Canopy is loose though.
Easy to put together and looks unmistakably like a p-38. The canopy this came with is too loose and falls off if you put it upside down. I didn't have this issue with the Cobi AU-1 Corsair model. I was mostly just going to display it anyway, so it's not a big deal but annoying if you need to handle it. ... show more

  • A bit disappointed
Bought this kit for something different not offered by Lego. The Cobi kit quality does not match Lego kit quality. I actually had a couple of small missing pieces in the Cobi kit, but was able to complete the model without them. The assembled model is a nice addition to my collection, and it was reasonably priced when compared to Lego, but I don’t have plans to purchase another Cobi kit. ... show more

  • Awesome plane
One of my fav ww2 war birds. The twin fuselages feel a little weak for a cobi build, but built for display only, mainly.

  • Excellent if you love warbirds and legos
Honestly the figures faces look stupid. This really isn't a toy. They are not robust. The cockpit on this inperticular isnt sturdy at all. The b17s engines fall off and the landing gears ire finicky. The whole line is awesome if you like warbirds and are a still a kid at heart. I have the b17 c47 and now thr p38. I'll be getting the whole fleet if planes I think. The tanks look cool. ... show more

  • It is a lego model
I thought it was a glue and paint model it is a lego type model, not what I wanted. I guess I didnt read the description of the item close enough.

  • Very well designed!
Found Cobi by accident, & so glad I did! I've built lots of Legos, but Lego doesn't have any military kits. Cobi is based in Poland, & history buffs will love their catalog, not to mention the way they design the build. The bricks are compatible with Lego, but Cobi uses little rings that turn the female side of a brick into male-genius! The only downside is shipping time, which is only because I live in a different country than where they're made. No missing pieces or build issues-great product! ... show more
