I love it! It's got an awesome clear sound, easy to use, and it definitely kicks. It's a tad bit heavier than I expected, but it has a shoulder strap. I live near the beach & plan on taking it with me, so that shoulder strap will be handy. I live in an RV and the sound fills the entire place. It came mostly charged, I only had to plug it up a hour to reach full charge, it says it takes 4 hours, that's probably from dead. I havent got to test the real playback time yet. That was a huge factor in my choice because I take it to the beach & will use it a lot outside. I love the look, it feels well made & tough. It says you can connect other speakers to it, but I doubt I will have the need for that, this is plenty for my needs & space. It was definitely sooooo worth the price! My last one was no where near what this one is & twice the price. Sadly it was stolen and this is one hella replacement! ... show more

Got this for my husband and he brings it EVERYWHERE. It's loud and clear, decent charge life, and pairs easily. Seems to be pretty tough too, as he tends to be hard on stuff. It's a decent size and weight, so won't slide all over the place, or topple over.

I keep the speaker in our garage, for when working on our cars or outdoor around the house. It’s super loud. It always connects instantly to the phones Bluetooth. It feels like I never have to charge the battery, it stays charged so long, and it’s kept in a garage that gets serious temperature swings. The only thing about the speaker that is noticeable that’s not the best, is the bass is very connected to if the speaker is on a solid surface. On the concrete floor of the garage the bass is great. On the table in the garage the bass is very good. If you hang the speaker or don’t have it placed on a solid surface it can rattle itself and the bass is noticeably weaker. Besides when placed in weird positions, it’s a fantastic speaker that’s been very reliable! ... show more

I can only compare this to JBL 4- since that's all I've owned before now. 1) this thing is heavy 2) I hate that you have to disconnect from other devices before you can connect to the one you're using. JBL is SO nice in that it might automatically connect to my phone, but i can still connect to my iPad and it will automatically switch to my iPad without me manually disconnecting and connecting everything. VERY user-friendly. 3) the "sound effect" button is pretty silly. It did help you push it over and over until i actually heard some bass...but i doubt my kids heard a difference- and the instructions were very lacking on what to expect using that button. 4) i can't speak to battery life yet, but i was pretty excited with how heavy this thing is that it would be really loud. it's loud enough, but it's not awesome loud.. so outside might be a bit lacking. i would probably rate this at 3.5 if i could, but i'm feeling generous today and rounded to 4. hahaha ... show more

This was great for throwing in my backpack while cruising around on my bike or electric scooter. Pretty loud for the speaker size. Easy to connect or pop in a SD card. Nice large rubber buttons and a good strong shoulder strap. It looks hard core like it could take a beating too. Battery last long as well. ... show more
