  • Fun Game!
This game is great for breaking the ice at our youth meetings. The timing is quick enough so no one gets bored, and the questions are mixed so everyone has a chance to be the winner!

  • Clean fun for ages 10 to adult
Trivia for all ages. Rules are easy. 7 or more of us adults (age 30 to 70) had so much fun. Played it before dinner and then again afterward. People could join in or out of the game at anytime they wish. The timer needs a buzz sound when time's up.

  • easy funny games to play
Instead of everybody, just sitting around, looking at their iPhone, we play games after dinner!

  • Fun game!
My 11 year old daughter wanted this game, so we bought it. We had a blast playing it and it's harder than you'd think!

  • Fun for all the family.
I got this as a birthday present for my son and he enjoys it. It's very simple, You get a card that has something like "name three makes of car". You turn the timer, which is provided, and you have until the last ball reaches the bottom to give 3 answers. If you fail, play passes to the next person who cannot repeat any answers. If everyone fails, you win by default. There's plenty of cards but there are a few specifics that would get older after a time, such as name books by a certain author or name movies with a certain actor. Of course if you don't know any, this is pretty useless so if playing with children you may want to pull or skip those cards to make it fair. The basis of the game is so simple, you could even make up your own cards and, if playing with adults only, could make it a little more risque with the name 3... Overall, lots of fun to be had but can be predictable after you've been through the cards a few times. ... show more

  • 5 Second Rule Game is Awesome 👏🏻
Wow! I am so happy I brought this game up to our Cousins Reunion! The game was a great ice breaker with all the Cousins! There were many that I never met or did not really know well! ! It was a hit with all the adults and kids! (Family friendly version) The game is very easy to play (especially when the adults had one too many to drink (not the kids!)) We made up our own rules: Basically, one person is the judge per round. The judge picks a card from the box of cards and reads it aloud! The person to the judges left is in the hot seat and has to give three answers under five seconds. The game comes with a five second timer that gets turned over immediately after the judge reads the card. The person on his left must answer within the allotted time. If not, the card is returned to the back of the box of cards! However, if the person gives three answers, the timer is turned over again for the next person to give three different answers from the first person. This continues until someone makes a mistakes or has a brain fart and is stomped! When that happens, the card is given to the LAST person who gave the last three different answers from anyone else. The game continues until someone accumulated six cards ! We could not stop laughing! I highly recommend this game if you want to have lots of fun! ... show more

  • Weird combination of topics
So, this game has the potential to be a lot of fun. I saw this one on sale for a ridiculously low price and decided to give this to my son for Christmas and we played it with a several family members. Everyone really liked the idea of this game- name 3 of (any given topic) in 5 seconds. But, topics were all over the place, as if someone had every niche edition of this game and mixed up all the cards into one game that wasn't really appropriate for anyone. Not inappropriate, mind you, just wrong for average people. An adult was asked to name 3 Paw Patrol characters (not even the kids in the game could do this because they're not preschoolers), a teen was asked to name 3 all inclusive resorts. There were very specific questions about sports as if this is a sports themed "5 Second Rule" game- minor league baseball teams, PAC 10 universities, football penalties...what?? There are some good ones that everyone could stand a chance at- 3 types of cars, breeds of dogs, colors in a rainbow, thanksgiving foods... the kind of topics that were in the game descriptions. It sounds easy but try doing it in 5 seconds, especially with that timer! It's a great game (I've played it before) but it would have been better if the card topics were more general instead of wildly all over the place. In the end, we all got bored and switched to a different game because nobody was succeeding with any of the cards we drew. Maybe this was why it was on such a great sale. I've played other versions of it that were much easier to complete the challenge at least some of the time. ... show more
