I got this for my grandson and he said that it is very uncomfortable to sleep on. He said is very firm and he does a lot of tossing and turning at night with this mattress. I gave it a three star because it is very easy to assemble and I do love that it comes with a cover that you can wash. Thin, shallow profile mattress. It is comfortable but this is more of a top bunk type of mattress. It is well made and the whales are fun. It reached the maximum size within 3 days. We helped it along by laying it on the floor and stepping on it a bit.
