I bought this set for my 8 year old. He loves to build, thought this would be perfect. The box states 6+. Definitely not. He is 9 and had a hard time. The directions are confusing. Some of them were wrong and we had to adjust. The pieces are small and don’t fit together all that well we struggled a bit with the connections. It took us 3 hours in total. I bought this kit for my. Hold once and he discovered a piece missing. Because I wasn’t sure if he had lost it (he usually doesn’t) I bought another set because he was so disappointed and it was too late to send the original back. The second kit came and we got busy but just opened it to try again and the SAME PIECE is missing a second time in the second box we bought. My 6 year old autistic kid disappointed twice by the same product. I would like to complete this kit! I want this piece so we can do the build but I’m guessing it’s near impossible to get these pieces shipped. Very disappointed. My son said “maybe they don’t like kids”. ... show more
