Very comfortable and ergonomic to front carry this pack. Comfortablely access all the compartments. Grip on it to rest your hands. Sturdy bag, of course back carrying is great. Used that for hiking and backpacking in Europe

Excellent bag, but not quite perfect for me. First, v the good: it's high quality and made very well. No complaints about the construction, it's going to stand up to most use. The admin area is okay, not quite enough pockets for me, but I like a lot of space for the admin area. CCW compartment is pretty good and will hold most micro compact 9s with a spare mag easily. I added a Maxpedition holster/mag Velcro combo to that area and it fit perfectly so no bouncing around. Good option to have in case. The straps are padded and attached to each other so I like that. I do miss dearly, the lack of side handles. This is a big feature for me that I knew the bag was missing, but figured I would just live without. This is kind of my main gripe since I really miss having them. Everything else is pretty good, and if you get this on a sale for under $100 it's worth it. I do recommend you ship around and compare though. One other feature which is something I knew as well going in. The outside MOLLE instantly makes the bag look 'tactical' so no question about it, it has that look which you may or may not want. ... show more

In paramedic class. Hold 2 text books and a 16 inch laptop(it's a little tight tho) anything more then that I'd go the next size up. Has a ton of pockets in pocket. Love this bag.

This backpack is very customizable ! One thing that I really enjoy is the comfort and back support it has, if I could make a change it would be the laptop sleeve I have a 13.3 MacBook Pro and sometimes it’s a struggle to put the laptop into the sleeve and take it out, other than that it’s perfect.

I won't buy any other brand. I got the rush10 sling pack and love it. 7 yrs strong now. I got my son this pack and he brings it everywhere with him. it's got the velcro compartment between the main and front zipper pockets like my rush10. So I got one too! I went through 4 packs before I found 5.11. As I use them for work everyday. Zippers are strong and so is the stitching and material of this bag. Definitely happy with this. ... show more
