UPDATE 3: 15 months in (December 2021) and the bag is still going strong. I see some reviews where the bag didn't hold up, maybe they have some quality control issues where some weren't as good as the one I recieved? I don't know but I'll tell you that mine is very well built and I do not regret the purchase in the least. It's a very durable backpack. UPDATE 2: Five months in of daily use (Feb 11, 2021) and still as good as new. They also lowered the price (at least on the black one, the others are still pricier) back to a reasonable place so I will be ordering a second one. At roughly the $30 mark, this bag is a steal, it you're going into the $50 dollar range like some of the other colors, you can probably find better value elsewhere. UPDATE: Three months in (Dec 14th, 2020), still holding up beautifully. The backpack is as rugged and durable as it looks. A quick note based on a review I read. The bag comes shrink wrapped for protection, so it'll take some use before it fills out fully and looks just like the pics. However, mine now looks JUST like the pic. I actually went to buy a second one and I've noticed they raised the price by roughly 33% since I grabbed mine. That's disappointing and is a massive price hike in such a short period, however, it doesn't affect my rating of the product itself. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I searched for a while before I bought this. I wanted something I could cycle with that had a lot of space. There are MANY similar backpacks on Amazon. I'm assuming the pattern has been taken by many different Chinese manufacturers and copied and recopied with varying levels of quality. I spent days reading reviews, especially as I wanted to make sure I got one with good zippers as this bag will be getting a lot of use. Though this review doesn't speak to the longevity of the product as I've only been using it for a week, I can say that at this point, I am VERY happy with it. It is quite large and holds everything I need. The material seems very durable and the zippers are quality. It also has multiple compartments for organization. This particular backpack also had something that many others didn't, a thicker waist belt in order to take the weight off the shoulders. The waist belt also has two small pockets for wallet, keys, gum, etc. It also has a smaller chest strap to keep the shoulder straps in place. I couldn't really be happier with it right now. If things change, I will update the review. Oh, and it came with a couple of bonuses that aren't listed in the description. Aside from the water bottle pouch listed, it also comes with a little drawstring pouch. Also, it came with an odd little credit card shaped multitool. It's pretty comfy, I like the fact that I came with straps for chest and waist so I can balance the weight, it's pretty strong and definitely recommended, just one little thing will be: you can wash it in the washing machine but don't dry it in the dryer, better put it to dry on the sunlight or in your bathroom, otherwise it will be destroyed ... show more

I use this back for a carry on when traveling. Some airlines are more fussy than others, but it fits a lot of items, the different pockets help keep things separated and the straps are very comfy. Love the velcro front for patches. I will say the interior is a little flimsy looking like a thin plastic, but I have not had an issue with it yet. I also like the feature of the strap across the top, I have a similar bag without this and do like this added option. ... show more

The 4 stars is because of the value and the shape/pockets. I'd give the quality a 3 stars. The material just doesn't feel the toughest, and the way the zippers have to go around the very square, 90 degree edges of this bag make me nervous for the future. But this is a very early judgement... the bag could prove me wrong. And that's where I bump it up a star to 4 stars... because lets face it: You didn't pay a lot for this backpack. So for what I paid, the value is very high. I'm not taking this thing into combat, I'm carrying around my laptop and gym clothes with the occasional day hike. If you love a pack with multiple cinch straps, M.O.L.L.E. strapping, a good waste belt, and many different compartments to organize your stuff, you'll love this pack. It's also a great size... not too big, not too small. I can fit my 17.3" laptop in this thing, but realize the bottom isn't padded like a backpack meant to carry a laptop. ... show more

I don't typically write reviews, but I had to for this backpack. My family and I were going to a remote island that we had too ferry to, where no cars were allowed. We would be using bikes to get around, so luggage wasn't an option. Being a woman, I wanted a huge backpack that could hold all of my stuff. This sucker was a god send! It held ALL of my things with room to spare. With all of the extra straps, it never felt too heavy. LOTS of pockets and secret compartments to hide money or important papers. For the price, you can't beat this bag. I look forward to using it on my future trips! ... show more

It has all of the storage space I needed for my extra uniform shirts, my umbrella and other supplies I need to carry for my job. The shoulders straps are extremely comfortable and don't feel like they are going to slip off. I really like the molle straps on the front for hanging my keys to avoid losing them.
