    Excellent starting project for my 11 year old niece who has always wanted to learn to cross-stitch. The only downside is the difficulty of threading t he needle underneath to hold the ends. The point of the needle is too rounded and too thick.

    My 9 year old loves it and was able to make the coasters. It also has blank patterns so she could make her own designs. Easy instructions and good ideas made this a great buy.

    I would say that the cross stitch is easy to handle but not very easy to read the instructions. Also, I wouldn’t recommend this for a beginner. I bought this for my daughter and she kept getting confused so I ended up doing it myself. If a beginner were to figure it out, they would be surprised when they got a real Crossstitch because the instructions are so different. Otherwise the dissing is pretty. ... show more
