The quality is outstanding, the captures are beautiful, and it's a dream to record with. 2 64 GB sticks get you around 2 hours of 60fps 4K capture at 150 Mbps and it's breathtaking. The manual options are similarly outstanding allowing you to get the best shot possible. The documentation is great and you can download as a PDF from the site. I highly recommend reading it for a full list of functionality to expect. It records 1080 beautifully as well since it captures in 4k and downsamples so the 1080 captures look much more detailed than standard 1080 camcorders I've used in the past. It's ultra silent as well and is fairly lightweight. Can shoot with one hand no problem. About the only complaint I would have is that it doesn't capture raw 4k and instead records directly to mp4. This, however, can be seen as a plus because you don't have to re-encode after, and the files are much smaller than raw would be. For the price, it's no problem.     • It doest switch to night vision while recording
I like the camcorder. The only thing I dislike about it is that you can't switch to and from night vision while recording. You actually have to stop recording and start recording again. It's kind of annoying.

With all the crap cam's on here this one to me seems to be a tad better than a few others that I have tried ( 7) and returned , even the $170. one

    • Decent, but not as advertised
I like this product as it comes with the stabilizer, external mic, batteries, remote, and hood lens but I have reservations overall. I viewed the recorded videos on a full HD 50 inch television and I did not notice any change in pixelation nor quality. Even 2.7k looked the same quality as a low grade standard definition camcorder. Also the sound quality is not the greatest and sounds a bit muffled with or without the ex mic. I did not notice a vast change in sound quality with the ex mic on either. Overall, it records, but I would advise getting a more reputable brand. ... show more

I bought this camera for my kids to run around with this summer. We’ve only had it a few days. It’s a decent camera for the price. I wish I could charge the batteries outside of the camera. That way one could be charging while the other is in use. The batteries don’t last very long. So we are constantly plugging the camera in. I didn’t expect this camera to actually be of super quality. I work in video production so I knew what I was buying. It’s fine for my kids to run around and play with. I wouldn’t use it for anything serious. ... show more

I was searching for one that has all the necessary features and accessories and found Aasonida Ultra HD 36MP Digital that suites my need also great in the quality video for school & home needs.     • For a video camera that supposably has more mega pixels than my phone its sucks.
I got this go record my kids basketball and football games. Thought with it being ultra 2.7k with 36 mega pixels and 16x zoom this would be so much better than my phone. Well I was so wrong. My phone having half the pixels still takes better video and photos. The 16x zoom is a joke and not clear at all. If what you need to video is more than 50 feet away ( like a youth football game) I wouldn't even bother youd be better off recording with your phone. ... show more
