I like the simplistic use of the product. It is really easy to setup and use. It is surprisingly small but does everything I need it to. I have multiple computers at my desk. With the KVM switch I can plug both of my computers into a single set of monitors easily. Similarly using this KVM switch makes it easier to switch between the two. Before I would have to go into each monitor and choose the input I would want it to use. The biggest plus is I can use the same keyboard and mouse if they are plugged into the KVM switch. Before I would have two sets of keyboards and mice at my desk. Using the KVM switch helps make my desk significantly cleaner and less busy. The media could not be loaded. Not much to say here. My wife was “lucky” lol to get both her work laptop and personal desktop with display ports instead of HDMI (by the way I have HDMI ones and after such a positive experience with this switch my next purchase will be HDMI one for myself. If someone is on the same spot you know what I’m talking about. This switch definitely made my life easier (yes, my life, because I manage all connection issues in our household). Finally switching between two computers doesn’t involve my presence anymore lol. By simply pressing the button (looove the wired remote switch button (about 3ft) that can be operated in your closest proximity ) she can easily switch between two computers and monitors. Both PCs use the same peripheral hardware now, external HDD, keyboard and mouse (5 (!) USB A 3.0 ports wow). Amazing picture clarity, but to be honest I’m not impressed with 8K@30Hz (and only because of mouse responsiveness at this refresh rate), but 4K@240Hz is something that is blowing my mind. So all I can say when I set everything up and showed how it works to my spouse (nothing to show lol, just press the button) I realized I’m done with constant pressure of questioning how to do this or that. Device comes with a bunch of cables, but I can’t say anything about quality here since I used mine high quality ones I already owned (besides remote button of course). Very useful little device for a fair price that makes working routine definitely easier and more efficient, and yes, frees up so much of my time now lol. Expect its hassle free work for at least few years but if anything goes wrong I’ll definitely post an update here. Hope someone will find my review helpful. ... show more

I have a PC and docking station for my laptop. There are some things that still require the PC so I didn't want to get rid of it, but I didn't want to clutter my workspace with more peripherals. This KVM switch fit my needs even though my setup is a bit unorthodox. Both my computers are using different versions of windows and different monitor layouts. Although my second monitor occasionally tries to go to sleep when I'm switching between computers, a quick restart of the switch seems to take care of it. I'm happy with the purchase. ... show more

This product is advertised as having Displayport compatibility in both description and photos. The product I received has only HDMI ports. This is useless for me as I only purchased this due to the Displayport compatibility. The packaging also says it has Displayports, but the actual product itself only has HDMI ports and no Displayports. I've attached photos for reference. ... show more

Very happy with this, and extra excited that it also works with my wireless keyboard and mouse. I have not tried to make it work with audio as I am satisfied with allowing the work laptop speakers to put sound out as needed,i love being able to change from my work Laptop to my Personal PC with the press of a button, and be able to use 2 monitors on both! really easy to set up. ... show more

    • Fairly disappointing so far
I purchased this KVM (model: STK-S7230P2-A) on 7 Sep 2024. I did not have time to set it up until 3 Oct 2024. The setup went smoothly and was straightforward. It worked fine with one computer. On 12 Oct 2024, I was able to power up the second computer and it switched over without issue. However after using the 2nd computer, switching back to the 1st computer did NOT work. The video went dark (switched of the 2nd comp) and both the keyboard and mouse also when dark (they are lighted so I could tell they did not switch to the 1st). Switching back to the 2nd comp required powering off and back on the monitors for the video to come back up. I could not get this KVM switch to recognize the 1st computer again. I power cycled the KVM and that did not work. I finally had to shut down both computers and power cycle the KVM to get the KVM to recognize the 1st computer again. At that point it recognized the mouse, the keyboard (temporarily), and one of the two connected monitors. Rebooting the 1st computer again and removing the power cable from the monitor that was not getting a display port signal finally got the keyboard and 2nd monitor to be recognized. I have switched the KVM to the powered off 2nd computer and back and the 1st computer is still recognized. I have not switched to a powered up 2nd computer because I need the 1st working at the moment. I did not buy a KVM switch to have to power cycle and remove cables. This switching is what it is supposed to do and so far it does not do it correctly. I don't know if all the steps need to be taken (none of the steps should be needed) but it did take all steps to get the 1st computer "seeing" the monitors, keyboard and mouse (latter 2 are the USB connection, the monitors are display port). I would appreciate a response from Hearvo Store (seller of KVM) or Teetek (brand of KVM) on how to correct this problem. Is it a bad KVM or just a poorly designed one?
