I did not realize how much hair was on my carpet until I started using this tool. It has made a huge difference to quick clean ups and also saved all of this hair getting into my vacuum. I found it easy to use and very effective. It's been in use now for over a year and my only downside is that I would like to be able to buy replacement end scrapers to extend life of product but don't see them available as a separate item. You know you’re an adult when a cleaning tool has you hyped. I bought this because my dog (and me) shed a LOT and we have lots of carpet. Holy smokes. Picked up so much hair, dirt, dust and debris in general. So satisfying. I like how you can adjust the size of the handle for different surfaces - makes it a great flexible option. The pieces stay on relatively easy - the little piece for putting on the hook sometimes pops off if I’m gripping too tightly. It’s very lightweight, thin, easy to store and carry around. I got the plastic/rubber one first. It broke within the first month. This one is more stable and works better. I can’t give 5 stars just because I’m tall and the pile isn’t long enough. The silly end of the pile keeps coming off so you just need to hold it lower. It works amazing though.

Just got this product today and used it immediately. The only downside is the top of the handle pops off while cleaning so I just took it off and it was fine. As you can see even a small area of these rugs were absolutely covered in dog hair. You can see the difference where I cleaned just the edge on the big reddish/blue one in one of my photos. It also picked up dirt as well! However I will still need to shampoo these rugs at some point so it didnt leave the rug looking like new. We have 2 dogs and one sheds like crazy and they both track in dirt from our yard. It worked well on the short carpet in our bedrooms, too. Oh and its double sided. You do need just a little elbow grease but not anymore than mopping a floor (similar movements). Definitely worth the money! ... show more

We have pretty nice/luxurious carpet at my house and it was VERY easy to use this rake to collect the super fine black hair from our dog. It doesn’t damage the carpet and I did the entire upstairs and stairs in about an hour (I’m recovering from foot surgery so I raked from the ground since I can’t put weight on my foot - not sure if this is a great time but it was really fast for me!). Some negatives: 1) the part where you hang the rake, that thing pops off a lot, and 2) if you rake a while, the handle isn’t ergonomic and can be tiring to your hands. ... show more

I didn't get ANY pet hair from my carpet, I have lived in this apartment for 4 years, with THREE cats, and nothing. A little bit off the couch, but carpet and rugs nadda. I have basic apartment carpet and several area rugs. I was so excited to bring a little life to the flooring by removing unseen pet hair, very disappointed. I vacuum frequently, but to pull none is crazy, even from the places they most often sleep. UPDATE: I tried again, and just didn't put enough muscle into it. I found it worked better without the long extension, but you REALLY have to use some elbow grease. Once I got on the floor and put all I had into it, I got some results. It was a good work out, broke a good sweat lol. BUT then the handle snapped off and I am left with the brush, can be used with a thick padded potholder glove. ... show more

Finally!!! A product that actually does what it says it will do!! We have 3 Golden Retriever’s so you can imagine the hair. This rake is easy to use and picks up an unbelievable amount of hair. I was a bit skeptical when I bought this, but this product is absolutely amazing! I could not believe how much dog fur it got out of my carpet with minimal effort. It's a lifesaver! It makes vacuuming and shampooing the carpets so much easier.
