I used to keep my cups loose on a tray while mixing colors, and more than once I've spilled them all over myself and the floor, making me start all over again. This is a great way to keep everything in place and organized. I really like that it has multiple different sizes of cups and that they all have holes in the holders to fit them. The crescent shape of the holders makes them extra-sturdy and keeps them from tipping over if f you accidentally bump them. The larger cups are perfect for mixing the colors, as they give you plenty of stirring room and room to back-fill if you make a mistake in the shading. The smaller cups help ensure you don't waste your mix colors. There are also enough cups in the set that you don't have to worry about them running out anytime soon. This bag has a good variety of sizes, but rather than include a stand that i really don't need, they could have made caps with the flare on the bottom for better stability. Still, they work exactly how you expect.

I don't tattoo, so I didn't get this for that purpose. I did pick it up for painting models. These are great for holding a small amount of paint so you don't dry out the whole darned pot. these ink cups are pretty much what you'd expect. the inclusion of three sizes is nice. i really like the included ink cup holder as it helps alot. i've knocked over a few ink cups while practicing and it's not fun cleaning up. the holders work well and have enough holes for most tattoos. they cups are all in separate bags. i hate when they ship them all bundled and you have to dig through looking for a certain size. for the price i would definitely grab these again. ... show more

These were perfect, and we were slightly surprised by the amount of them. It was really nice that they came with a stand though to send them in so you don't have to worry about knocking them over and staining things with your ink!
