    • Flat round disc earrings worked well for making my own post earrings
These flat disc earring posts worked great for adding my own gem designs on them. I like that there are 2 different sizes of discs included in the package and there is also a set of post earring discs with a loop on it for making drop style earrings. I basically just glued on some resin "gems" and some other crystal gems to the discs. I don't particularly care for the rubber backs and I replaced those with some regular metal earring backs which fit well. There were no problems with irritation or soreness in my ears when wearing these. I'll be using these earring posts to make lots of earrings for gifts. ... show more

Earring post studs for jewelry making. They are silver in color. The description says sterling but for this price, it has to be plated. It does not say what metal it's plated over. I wish there was more description. I feel this is important especially if you are going to sell your finished pieces. Also, be aware the posts are very small. Even at 6mm, they are small disks. Maybe I am just used to the larger size posts. Also in the picture, you do not get the hearts and other pieces. I was aware they were for example only, but some may think they are included. You get the posts in two sizes and another set of posts with a tiny and I mean tiny loop at the bottom. You will also get tiny jumprings. You will get many more clear rubber backs than you do the posts. I am guessing because they are easy to lose, so they included extra. There is also a bent tweezer, I am not sure why, I am going to use it to pick up rhinestones. I personally think to open and close the jumprings the jewelry pliers would work better. For the price, it's a good kit. I personally would use a good jewelry glue like E-6000 to attach anything to the stud. I know some use UV resin but The lamp has to be able to cure the resin. I do not see how it fully cures through the round disk. Applying some UV resin to the back would work. When using polymer clay, try to embed the post and then apply a thin layer of clay over the back and bake again. If you are making jewelry for yourself then you dont have to be too concerned. I am overly careful if I create jewelry to sell, I do not want pieces falling off. Taking a little more time to secure everything is always best. ... show more

Packaging says " Earring Posts for Jewelry Making, MADE IN CHINA" . There is nothing about sterling silver, hypoallergenic nor nickel free as advertised. These stick to a magnet. Sterling silver does NOT stick to a magnet :(

This is an earring making kit of 400 pcs. They are made of .925 sterling silver and are a decent quality for the price. The heads are on the small side and are easy to attach stones or whatever you are working with. They have a ring for attaching decorations to and they are easy to close so they will stay on there. I got these because they had the ring attached on them and I was wanting to hang some small pieces of chain and it was good for that. The only thing I was not real happy about was that the shaft seems a little weak and is easily bent on some of them while I was working with them. I tried to straighten them out but they were noticeably bent anyway. For the price and because the are real silver it is a pretty good value and I would buy them again. ... show more

I received the earring jewelry making kit undamaged and separated in little baggies. The kit comes with 3 different size stud posts, backings, tweezers, and jump rings. A bit of background--I work with polymer clay and resin to make little charms. I was in the market for earrings and thought maybe I could just make my own earrings with my crafts. Therefore this was the perfect kit for that! The kit has everything you need to create your earrings! The kit doesn't come with any glue, so you'll have to buy your own jewelry glue to adhere whatever you would like to the post. I use both uv resin and/or E6000 to make my earrings. Overall, this kit works and fits my needs perfectly! The price is also on point (around $5-$6). If you want to make your own earrings and make polymer clay or resin charms, I highly recommend this! ... show more
